I booked my stay here based on glowing online reviews and positive ratings, but my experience fell far short of expectations. While the location was convenient, several aspects left me feeling disappointed. Disappointed Aspects: Dated Rooms: The pictures online must have been from a long time ago because my room felt incredibly dated and worn. The furniture seemed old, and the overall décor lacked any modern touches. Crowded Atmosphere: The hotel was quite crowded during my stay, which made it feel overwhelming. There weren't many places to relax and unwind, and the common areas felt constantly busy. Inauthentic Ambiance: Given its location in Japan, I expected a more traditional Japanese aesthetic. Unfortunately, the hotel's design felt generic and lacked any cultural charm. Positive Aspects: Location: The hotel's location was indeed convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. Would I Recommend This Hotel? Unfortunately, I can't wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. While the location is a plus, the dated rooms, crowded atmosphere, and inauthentic feel detracted significantly from my stay.
However, the staff and management were kind enough to help in canceling and refund my booking. I'm moving to...
Read moreStayed at the hotel for 2 days on 31st August and 1st September. On the 1st September, I was out all day long so I wasn’t inside the room to watch the cleaning staff did the room cleaning. When I came back around 7pm, I noticed that the zipper of one of my bag was opened but I thought I was the one left it unopened (which I thought was strange as I would always try to close everything before going out). Today I realized the small bag which I put all my jewelry inside was missing. I do not wish to doubt but I can only think that the cleaning staff did it. This is not the first time i stayed at this hotel. The first time i stayed at this hotel, i was inside the room when the cleaning staff did the cleaning. The staff isn’t Japanese. Almost all the cleaning staff are those from Southeast Asian countries. The one I saw before was from Nepal. I went all the way to the hotel for this but the security guy was like it’s gonna take around 3~4 working days which I found really unreliable. They didn’t even let me watch the CCTV footage as well. This isn’t about money. One of the jewelry is something I received from my late grandmother which cannot be bought anywhere else. I can’t believe I would face such thing in Japan. So...
Read moreStayed for 5 nights at this hotel during May. The hotel was a 5 minute walk away from Shinagawa Station, with signs around the mall to find the entrance to the hotel therefore accessibility is not a problem at all. The lobby was clean and new, very similar as to a boutique hotel. The rooms interior and design were slightly dated but didn't seem to bother us at all as we were out most of the day anyway.
What really impressed me and that I would like to commend is their impeccable service. My wife brought a hair dryer that was incompatible with the power output from the normal socket and we needed a step-up voltage transformer. Thought of buying one from an electronics shop but it costs around $100 dollars. Tried our luck and asked the reception and they sent one up to us, no questions asked.
On another occasion, we needed help to book a car rental as the owner only spoke Japanese. Again we asked the reception for help and they assisted us right away, taking no more than 5 minutes. Choose this hotel if you want great service, you would not be...
