Shiokaze Park — Attraction in Tokyo

We went there for a BBQ about 6pm. There were not many people and the trees were blocking most of the sun overall it's a convenient spot for BBQ inside Tokyo. There is a tiny store that sells drinks and limited selection of supplies. The closest convenient stores are at least 10 minutes walk away. There are toilets very close by and places to wash the equipment after you are done. There is also a treeless open area with grass, perfect for flying kites or playing games. Proper spot for a nice day no matter the weather. Generally the area is the only place that has access to the Bay Area in Tokyo. Plane spotters will definitely enjoy a few a380's flying overhead once in a while and ship spotters will occasionally be able to see a container ship docking. All in all it's pretty decent, calm and refreshing. This is the best park in Aomi. And why wouldn't it be? It has a large wooden pirate ship for children's to play and a fountain where children's can splash! Overlooking the bay, this airy open park will make you appreciate little things in life. There are plenty of benches for seating, loads of shade and many other amenities.
