Odaiba Aomi Area P Sector — Local services in Tokyo

As a part of Tokyo Motor Show 2019’s media tour, Toyota had organized an exhibition in the cordoned parking area here. We had so much fun! They had several large tents setup and several vehicles were on display – some new concept cars and the cut-away sections of their existing hybrid vehicles. The SORA FC bus was also on display and they had demonstrated the auto-stop tech with markers on the road.

The icing on the cake was however the Toyota 86 and Supra doing donuts inside a closed area and the M-I-G-H-T-Y Century doing rounds within the lot. I got a ride at the rear seat of the Century and the chauffeur took me around like the Japanese Emperor (who was coincidentally getting enthroned that very day – 21 October 2019!), except my queen consort was missing! ;-) They even had porta-toilets which were very clean and a small outlet which were serving snacks and hot cuppa. GWもあり凄い人で盛り上がっていました。私達夫婦はたまたまこのイベントを見つけて行きましたがまず入場に入場料、入るとチケット販売されていて並ばずにスムーズに買えるチケット、他チケット、とにかくチケットを買わないと出店されている肉を買えないようでチケットを買い、出店されてある肉を買う際にはキャッシュレス。今の時代だとほぼ当たり前のようになっていますが当日現金とある程度のSuicaだけだった為仕方なく入り口に戻り入園チケットの払い戻しを聞いてみました。現金はありますがキャッシュレス必須だった為。ですが払い戻し不可で挙げ句にはイベントの責任者が現れ丁寧に説明頂きましたが、、このイベントには入園料、買う迄のチケット料、それからやっと出店されている肉を食べれるといった長い工程でキャッシュレスに関してはこちらも理解しましたが誰にでも分かる仕組みでないと単にお金を払うだけな感覚で非常に残念でした。イベントは盛り上がっていたようですが不満になったお客様も...

今日は、ダイバーシティに車停めて「魚ジャパンフェス」行ってきました。 いくらこぼれ丼だけ、鱒子なのかな？小粒でしょっぱかったぁ。他の店は、全てしっかりとしたいくらだった。焼きウニは美味かったなあ。

ダイバーシティは、イマイチ、外人ばっかでマナーが悪いというか客層レベルが低くく、われ我には合わずユニクロ寄って即帰宅。 ダイバーシティ一階のクレープ！過去最高に不味かった。残念。黙ってでも売れるとそうなってしまうのかな？生クリームが特に不味かった。皆に問いますが、逆に不味い生クリームって食べたことあります？笑 興味のある方...
