I would like to share my nasty experience with parking at Westgate Mall, which I believe highlights some important issues for potential customers to be aware of . I paid for parking, but left without collecting my chip. Upon my return within a minute, the chip was missing. When I inquired with the attendant, I was informed that I would need to pay 1,500 to replace it. I explained that I had neither collected nor lost the chip.

The guy on duty reviewed the CCTV footage multiple times and initially insisted that I had taken the chip, only to later confirm that the guys who followed me had taken it and exited the premises with it. This situation resulted in a prolonged wait of nearly three hours untill midnight as we attempted to resolve the issue. Ultimately, we had to leave and pay for the chip taken by someone else which we never lost, which could be clearly seen on the footage.

Additionally, I found the security personnel on-site to be unhelpful and unprofessional.They threatened to call the police, which they ultimately did, but the police were unable to assist in resolving the matter. The supervisor, Christine, displayed poor customer service skills that did not help the situation saying that's the status quo at Westgate .

For the sake of your own peace of mind, I would highly recommend parking outside the mall for your own...
