A hit and a miss. We came here twice and had two very different experiences. Based on the first experience I would rate it a solid 5 star and on the second experience an average 3. During our first visit we were served by an amazing waitress, she was incredibly accommodating and very knowledgeable. Me and my mom spoke to her in a mix of Lithuanian and Russian, and she was fluent in both. She also quickly realised that my husband only speaks English and made a lot of effort to include him by directly chatting to him in English. I'm gutted I don't remember her name, but she was awesome! She was the only reason we came back the next day, but unfortunately our experience the second time around was very average in comparison. The server serving us barely said anything to us, and just the overall feel wasn't as welcoming and warm. We had to wait for our food just over 30 minutes too and when it finally arrived, only 2 out of 3 meals came. When the last one showed up, the first two people were finishing their food, not ideal. Food quality was superb on both...
Read moreThis was the worst experience we had in the 12 countries we visited in Northern Europe.
First we ordered a small lager and an IPA and they brought the same beer for both (the IPA) both large (like they think tourists are dumb or something) when confronted the server said they were different beers because the glasses had different drawings on them, did not even care to check. We ordered the rest of the meal at the same time.
We received the starter we ordered and we actually liked it, that’s why I am giving 3stard on food.
After this, we waited over an hour and 20 min, every table around us that came after were done and our food wasn’t out. When we decided was enough and stood to leave, the server came up to us demanding we stay and gave us the worst possible attitude he could have given to us when we said no and paid what we consumed to leave.
If an owner reads this, I e believe you have a good place that is being damaged by poor staffing. What could have been a lovely meal transformed into a disaster due to 2...
Read moreThe atmosphere is what brought us in. We sat on the docked riverboat. It took a while to order drinks and food. After our drinks arrived we sat around for almost an hour waiting on a salmon plate, salad, beet soup and desert. Finally the plate arrived, and the waitress apologized for the soup, stating the kitchen is busy. We never received the rest of our order, or at least we got tired of waiting after quite a long wait. We had to walk to the waitress stand just to get our check and pay. As we were getting up a beet soup was delivered to another table. During our stay, we watched 4 full tables get up and leave due to no service. Suggestion: You need an effective manager to oversee the operations. Train staff to be more responsive to patrons. Get kitchen staff that can produce food quicker. You lost out of 30 euro just for our addition items we never received, plus the couple hundred the other tables wanted to order. The salmon plate...
