Hotel Euterpe — Hotel in Klaipėda

Due to poor sleep issues from a bad ac unit this really is more of a 3.5 property but rounded up due to some other positives. ||Check-in:|Good, friendly service||Breakfast:|Exceptional scrambled eggs with fresh cracked eggs!|Breads, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, local pancakes with preserves, sausages, 3 different kinds of eggs, cereal, breads, good strong coffee.|Nice staff.|Lovely courtyard seating available. ||TA Shows parking is free, it is not free, it costs 15! and they have very limited space. If you arrive later in the day look for yellow zone parking and leave in the morning, there is some only a 5 minute walk from the hotel and the price is very reasonable. BUT, you must have coins! So be prepared to pay with coins.||Room:|Dated room|Bed and pillows comfortable |Problems with AC, very loud, turned on and off, made it difficult to sleep. I've stayed in this hotel 3 times already and I will come again in the future. First of all it is in amazing location, in the heart of The Old Town of the city. It is easy to walk everywhere because distances are not that long. The staff is very helpful. I just walked into the hotel and felt like home, the already remembered me, had a great talk while checking in. Tried three different rooms in this hotel and all of them were spacious, very luxury, clean. They are cleaning the rooms every single day (the bed is always made up, the towels always new and clean, etc.). Restaurant is very nice, I just love breakfast menu, food is very delicious and there are a lot of options. My favourite place to eat is of course outside in terrace, but now that it is cold outside I prefer inside, haha. Bar has a lot of different choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. A very big plus is that Euterpe has it's own private parking, so you can leave your car without worrying about it. I had a late check-in at the hotel and was greeted warmly. However, I was disappointed to learn that breakfast would only be served starting at 8:00 AM, while I needed to leave by then.||The room size and cleanliness were satisfactory. However, the heating in the room was weak, and I felt cold during the night. There was no extra blanket in the closet. The hotel seemed almost empty, as there were only two cars in the parking lot, yet the hotel still charged 10 € for parking my car.||In the morning, I requested to extend my check-out time to 1:00 PM instead of 12:00 PM.
