Kitty and I had an exciting day at the Rainbow Skywalk at THE TOP Penang Theme Park. To purchase tickets, we had to proceed to level 56 or 58, where they offered various packages. We opted for a package that included the Rainbow Skywalk, Jurassic Park, and the aquarium, along with two other attractions that we can't quite recall. There were additional packages available, such as one that included the zombie house, but it required purchasing the full package for RM 138, if I remember correctly. Unfortunately, the Rainbow Skywalk is now fenced up, limiting the full scenic view we had hoped for. Despite this, we still recommend the experience to anyone visiting Penang. While we couldn't fully enjoy the panoramic views or the feel of thrill due to the fencing, we found ourselves focused on following the designated path, as seen in the video. The fencing took away the thrill of the height and the sensation of being on an open platform, making the experience rather boring. Although we may not revisit this attraction, we encourage others to give it a try, especially if they are in the area. Each attraction offered its own unique charm.

Rather pricey for an average Malaysian like me lemme tell you, nevertheless, its all worthy every ringgit. Entrance ticket purchased and professionalism is the courtesy to being ushered to Level 65 by the dressed in black staff. Thereafter, the ball is at your feet. You are your own free and easy guide. Apart from the observatory deck, there is a mini inside glass walk. To tell you the truth, fear ate and jittery took charge of me. I suppose it does happen. For me at least. But within the next few seconds, I stood still, I sat and I literally surrendered to Penang world under me. I also wouldn't stop with picturing until I realise I am being selfish to those waiting in line. Those photographers crowding close to you, I guess you have to ignore. Unless you want it or finding out later you have to pay for the photos.

The place is awesome with friendly staff. Do not miss this place when you drop by Penang. Affordable price range. Children's would love it with its Jurrasic Park, Aquarium and other gaming areas. And I especially like to extend my gratitude to the young Malay lady who was in charge of the Skywalk. She was extremely helpful with all the details of the location and the necessary information that I would have missed if it's not said ๐ . I didn't get her name but she was in charge of the Skywalk entrance (07/11/2021 - 18:30 HKT). Terima Kasih sis. Jasamu dikenang. I'll come back again and would definitely want to get your name the next time ๐ (disregard the blurry pic ๐ )

If you want to visit Penang, do not - DO NOT - pay the full price for THE TOP, KOMTAR. Just pay for the one going up to the Rainbow Skywalk. But you will reach the 65th floor first. You have to pay more to try The Gravityz. Since you already there, you might as well try it. Oh, if you weigh 100 kg, they won't let you. You spend like 20 minutes outside the glass wall. Then you take the elevator to 68th. I think it would be more breathtaking if you go there at dusk. You'll see myriads of colours down there. Remember, don't waste money at the theme park. Disappointing. Rainbow Skywalk is the place to go.

To be honest, itโs not impressive as compared to many observatory decks in the world, but still itโs nice to look down at Penang in a panoramic view. The only more interesting part is the rainbow skywalk, but i find it very small. The observatory deck that shows the entire view has a time limit, I understand this is for crowd control purposes but itโs not a very good experience. The tickets are also on the pricier side and non refundable if there are wet weather conditions. All in all I still appreciate The Top and I find that itโs still good to have an observatory deck and skywalk experience in Penang.

The Rainbow Skywalk at Komtar Tower in Penang offers an exhilarating experience, where visitors can enjoy stunning panoramic views of George Town and the coastline from 249 meters above the ground. The glass-bottomed walkway adds an exciting thrill as you look directly down at the city below, making it a memorable experience, especially at sunset. While it's an incredible spot for photos and a unique perspective of the city, those with a fear of heights might find it a bit nerve-wracking. It's best to visit during clear weather for the most breathtaking views.
