Subject: Concern Regarding Unexpected Charges at Clinic Visit
Hi All,
On 24 July 2025 at 8:30 PM, I visited the clinic with my daughter, who is a student and was experiencing a fever.
At the reception, I was informed that the consultation fee would be RM 35, which I accepted.
However, after the consultation — even after I cancelled the cough medication — I was charged a total of RM 120. I’m not sure what the total would have been before the cancellation, but I found the final amount unexpectedly high.
As I understand it, RM 35 was the consultation fee, and for just a few basic medications, the remaining charges seem excessive.
When I asked the staff for clarification, I was told the additional cost was due to the medication. However, I’ve received the same medications at other clinics before and was never charged this much.
I believe that clearly communicated. charges should be explained upfront, so patients are not caught off guard.
I kindly request that the clinic review this matter and ensure that pricing remains fair, consistent, and clearly explained moving forward.
Thank you for...
Read moreI always come to Mediveron, their service was good back then. But today (27/8/2025 around 1.40pm), I came here after a bad fall and was treated by a young Malay doctor. He was very professional and kind, and advised me to do an X-ray as my foot was swollen. However, my experience after that was very disappointing. I waited in front of the X-ray room for a long time without any updates. One of the nurses was busy chatting and joking with her husband, who came just for an MC, did not register, just walked in and sat at the bench beside me infront of the xray room. The same Indian nurse in her green uniform did not show the courtesy to inform me about the waiting time and left. Feeling neglected, I eventually walked to the counter and left after settling the consultation fee. While I truly appreciate the doctor’s care, I must say I was disappointed with the attitude of some of the Indian staff as well. As an Indian myself, I had expected at least a little more understanding and support, but unfortunately, their service was far...
Read moreThe front desk service was really terrible. Before making the payment, I asked them for a detailed receipt because I needed it for an insurance claim. They already seemed impatient, but I didn’t mind at the time.
However, after I paid, they only gave me an invoice and not an official receipt. Since I’ve filed claims before, I knew the insurance company would only accept an official receipt. When I asked them again, they impatiently told me that they only provide invoices and that I had no choice but to accept it.
After confirming with the insurance company that they wouldn’t accept the invoice, I called the front desk again. This time, they told me, “Come over, and I’ll print it for you.”
I’m really curious, how did they suddenly have it available? If they were too lazy to give it to me, they could’ve just said so. There’s no need to have it one moment and not the next. Do we really have to depend on their mood or attitude just to...
