I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at this escape room was truly frustrating and disappointing. We found this place on Google and reached out on WhatsApp. They mentioned they had a 4:45 pm slot available, but when I asked if they had a 5:45 pm slot, they didn’t reply. Despite that, we decided to head over and try our luck.

When we arrived, it took over 10 minutes just for the attendant to book us for 5:45 pm. After paying and signing the consent form, we were told we could go in as there were no one in the room currently, even tho our slot is 30 mins later, only to be stopped again because they needed to attend to another group who had booked the a earlier slot for another room. We didn’t mind waiting and understood there might be a delay.

Then came the rules about personal items. We were informed we couldn’t bring our phones in, which is understandable to protect their intellectual property. However, when we were putting our phones away, we were also told we couldn’t bring our watches. It felt odd, especially since we explained our mom was waiting downstairs alone and might need to reach us. They were adamant, so we reluctantly put our phones and watches in their “locker,” which turned out to be a cabinet with a flimsy lock. The locks were literally falling off the cabinet door.

Things only got worse. We were then told to leave wallets and keys behind as well. The “locker” was so insecure that a gentle pull opened it, even after it was supposedly locked. When the attendant saw my dad’s pocket still had something, and my dad exclaimed that it was cash, the attendant demanded he put it in the “locker,” we’d had enough and requested a refund. The lack of security was concerning, and despite them claiming we had the only key, the poor locking mechanism made us feel anything but secure.

On top of it all, the attendant’s attitude was dismissive and inflexible. Especially the plump lady. While I understand some rules are in place for a reason, their approach felt more rude than professional, with zero willingness to accommodate or make us feel at ease.

Would not recommend this escape room at all, especially considering the lack of customer care and security for personal belongings. There are likely better options nearby and else were if you’re looking for a fun and smooth escape room experience. This is the first time I’ve encountered this kind of inflexible staff and ‘company policy’ in an escape room...

The solutions were often predictable and didn't require much critical thinking or problem-solving skills, which detracted from the challenge and enjoyment of the experience.

On top of that, the room itself was in dire need of maintenance. The props were worn-out and shabby, with several mechanisms malfunctioning or broken altogether. This not only detracted from the immersion but also made it difficult to fully engage with the puzzles when components failed to work as intended.

Lastly, the customer service was subpar. The staff seemed disinterested and unenthusiastic, providing minimal guidance and assistance throughout the game. It felt like they were just going through the motions rather than actively ensuring that players were having a positive experience.
