Maco Inn — Hotel in Johor

After making a reservation through booking.com, new conditions were presented one after another. I explained that I was a foreigner and could not fulfill the conditions, and asked for their assistance, but they were left alone despite knowing about it. I was not even told the unlock code for the hotel entrance, so I had to give up on my stay without even opening the hotel door. None of the promised services were provided and I asked for a refund, but they refused, citing booking.com's terms and conditions. Been here whole week for business trip. Room size is narrow and no closet enough for 4 people. There's no parking spot near Maco before 12am. Need to park 200-400m away then park near Maco after 12am. Loud sound from club nearby goin on till 3am/4am.

This place not suitable for family trip or business trip. Just a tempo place for sober up.

I also meet multiple drunk guest check-in and make loud noise late night.

One more thing host still not refunding my deposit even though there no issue...

It's a partition room with low sound proof. Anyone walking or talking along the corridor can be heard easily.

Easy check in, responsive landlord, rm80 booked on Agoda for a Saturday consider cheap as it's right in the middle of Mt Austin, easily accessible, a lot of eateries and convenient shops.
