Let me spill the tea (literally) on what I tried:
White Peach Oolong Milk Tea 🌟Rate:5/5 This is one of those flavors that’s so common, the ones you can get at Chagee or Beautea. Taste familiar, refreshing, and you know exactly what you’re signing up for. Nothing groundbreaking, but hey, a classic is a classic.
Mango Pamelo Sago Smoothie 🌟Rate:5/5 Okay, THIS. This one was a winner! Rich, creamy, and bursting with mango goodness. The pomelo gave it a little zing, and those sago pearls? Absolute perfection. If you love mango, you need this in your life.
Strawberry Mochi Smoothie 🌟Rate:4/5 This was such a fun drink! Imagine sweet, fruity strawberry flavor with bits of chewy mochi mixed in. It’s like playing with your food but in the best way.
Bittergourd Lemon Jasmine Green Tea 🌟Rate:3/5 PERIA?!! I was so curious about this one. Honestly, I thought it would be bitter, but it wasn’t!! It had this weird, slight bitter taste that somehow worked when mixed with the lemon and jasmine??? Weird, refreshing, and totally unexpected. If you’re feeling adventurous, give it a go.
Sea Salt Orange Camellia Oolong Tea 🌟Rate:3/5 This didn’t stand out much for me. It felt more like fresh orange juice with bits of pulp still in it. Not bad, just not what I was expecting. But if you’re an orange lover, you might enjoy how light and refreshing it is.
Almond Avocado Milkshake 🌟Rate:5/5 If you’re into creamy, nutty drinks, this is it. The avocado made it super smooth, and the almonds added a nice crunch. It’s not too sweet either which i luv.
Camellia Shine Muscat Cake 🌟Rate:10000/5 Now, THIS cake was such a treat. The sponge was soft, the sweetness was subtle, and the hint of earl grey tea took it to the next level. Plus, those fresh muscat grapes on top were juicy and delicious. It felt fancy but in a lowkey way.
Choux (Classic Milky & Matcha) 🌟 Rate:100/5 These were so good! The crispy exterior and creamy filling made them so perfect!!! The classic milky flavor was smooth and comforting, but the matcha was the star for me. It had that earthy taste that paired beautifully with...
I’ve wanted to visit this place ever since it opened, and I finally made it this time! Luckily, I got to try their new seasonal items for the New Year
I was pleasantly surprised by the ‘好柿花生’. It’s my first time trying a peanut-based drink, and it was surprisingly harmonious. The rich but smooth peanut ice blended perfectly with the refreshing green tea jelly and persimmon pieces. Absolutely amazing!
‘龙眼牛奶桂花冰’. The fragrant osmanthus milk was complemented perfectly by the subtle sweetness of longan at the end. It seemed like a simple combination, but I’ve never had it anywhere else.
My boyfriend’s favorite was the ‘陈皮凤梨大红袍’. Compared to other pineapple-flavored fruit teas, this one was so creative!
Cream puffs deserve a huge shoutout! The New Year special, 🍊 Puff was delicious, but so were the original flavor and milk tea-flavored ones. It was perfectly crispy even when served, and the filling was generous and creamy.
Highly recommend this place for creative drinks...
Read moreWas around Austin area and wanted to get a bbt, so googled around and found Fufootea! With its many positive reviews and interesting names, I was so looking forward to the drinks. Tried 3 of them over 2 days:
Mango Pomelo Sago - I had high hopes for this! Though it was good, smoothie was slightly too thick for my liking.
Hand Mashed Grape & Pink Guava - Seldom see drinks with pink guava, and it was good! I wished that the grapes were cut or mashed into smaller bits though.
Fairy Peach Momoyama Oolong - I ordered this because I saw an order for this and the colours combi was so pretty! And it happened to be my fav drink out of the 3! Tea was good with peach bites, heaven!
Also tried the signature milk tea cream choux, somewhat like the smaller version of a chaterise puff with a ‘crispier’...
