I had a very disappointing experience at Tai Ho Jiak recently, and unfortunately, it was primarily due to the staff’s poor attitude and treatment.
Food: The braised pork rice set 1 I ordered was average at best, and my soup was served cold. While the food could have been a redeeming factor, it didn’t stand out enough to make up for the poor service I received.
Service: The most upsetting part of my visit was how I was treated when I mentioned that I was dining alone. Atmosphere: Though the restaurant’s décor and ambiance were nice, the staff’s behavior made the atmosphere uncomfortable for me. I’ve dined solo in many places, but I’ve never been made to feel so unwelcome.
Overall: I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Tai Ho Jiak. No guest, whether dining alone or with a group, should be made to feel disrespected or laughed at. I hope the management takes steps to address the way their staff treats customers because such behavior is...
Read moreIf you're seeking an excellent Taiwanese dining experience, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The ambiance is spacious, cool, and comfortable, creating a relaxed environment for your meal. Even though the restaurant has ample seating, it can get quite crowded during peak lunch and dinner times, highlighting its popularity and consistent appeal.
The staff are notably friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall dining experience. The prices are reasonable given the generous portion sizes and the quality of the food. In addition to savory dishes, the restaurant serves a variety of milk teas and a selection of desserts that change weekly. Their set menus, which include both a main course and a dessert, offer excellent value and are a great way to sample a bit of everything. Overall, this restaurant provides a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience, combining a welcoming atmosphere with flavourful...
