I had a very disappointing experience at this mall. Here are the main issues I encountered: Unbearably Hot Environment – The air conditioning was either not working or extremely weak. Even the staff were using handheld fans, which shows how uncomfortable it was. Shopping in such heat was exhausting. Poor Customer Service – The sales assistants were not friendly and didn’t offer any help when I was struggling to find the right size for my pants. Rude Staff Behavior – When I accidentally messed up a stack of pants while searching for my size, instead of assisting me, one of the staff members raised her voice at me. This is unacceptable behavior towards customers. Dirty Toilets – The restrooms were poorly maintained, with wet floors and a strong odor. Festive Price Hike – Some products were priced higher than usual due to the Eid celebration, which felt unfair. Long Checkout Queues – Despite having many cashier counters, only a few were open. By 9 PM, they had already stopped operating several counters, leaving long queues.
Suggestions for Improvement: • Train your staff in customer service and anger management. • Fix the air conditioning to provide a comfortable shopping experience. • Ensure toilets are cleaned frequently to maintain hygiene. • Management should properly oversee staff, especially during peak seasons, to ensure smooth operations.
I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves the shopping experience for...
Read moreI love to shopping at Sogo during sale because the design matched with my desire design of clothes. Besides, all my children clothes bought here. Here a lot of choice for kids, and adult even for senior also a lot of choices. Sogo always full of customers especially during wekend and public holiday, so for those interesred to come, you need to plan properly to avoid congestion while searching of car park. The best of sogo, it surrounded with a lot of public transportation such as LRT AMPANG ROUTE (LRT STAR), RAPID BUS, ehailing acces. and etc so if you worry about less car park spacing for private car, you are recommended to take a public transportation. At sogo, food court is avaiable for those who wants to rake take a lunch, or dinner since it close at 10pm. At food court a lot of menu are ready to be served such as Fast food like MCD, TEXAS. Also avaiable are western food, malay food, spices food, mee kari, and others which i can't list here. For muslim, Surau is avaiable at B1 or basement 1. Every floor, they providing public toilet. enough to served a lot people at one time.
Short list for your reference:
This review is purely for the shopping centre Surau (prayer room for muslims)
Despite the huge crowd that always bring excellent business and life to this malll, Sogo management have been either totally oblivious or just don't want to give a damn about the condition of the surau for years! The prayer room is old, filthy, unmanaged, has extremely old and worn out Prayer mats, the washing area (wuduh area) and floor are always dirty, tiles have come off from the floor, always congested and people have to wait in line to pray....
I wonder if the managing staff have been to the prayer rooms! Sogo doesnt care about the condition of the prayer room! I can remember, there even has been no door knob at the prayer room entrance for many years already. This door is also soooo filthy!
The room is always very stuffy and the air conditioning here ihas always been pathetic!
They put a shelf right near the washing area! Where is your common sense??!!
Sogo is always filled with huge crowd with thousands of customers patronising the mall, and the majority have been Muslims. Sogo has not maintained this facility to acceptable standards as of to this date!!. The huge crowd reflects on thier huge income and image, Sogo must immediately do something immediately with regards to the Surau.
I will post pics next time. I bet the condition of the surau will...
