Nice little stretch of shops opened by locals. There are various items like clothing, shoes, toys and food. I went there looking for some fried mantis shrimp (wanted to try some never had them before) but the shop wasn’t there 🥲. Please let me know if the shop still exists or not cause I still would like to get my hands on them one day. There are tons of food in the market. For meals you could get laksa, nasi padang, thai food, fried ramly burgers where they literally fry the buns up and western food. For snacks there are fruits, otak otak, grilled meats on sticks or as they like to call it, sate. There are also a variety of local desserts to choose from such as the putu mayam, keropok lekoh (thin, medium or fat) and some mini crepes things with local filling inside. They also have a store selling fresh produce (vegetables and fish). If you like walking around in the streets, do check it out! Do bring an umbrella! There’s no shelter if it rains.

Attention to all Food hunters and travellers!!! This is a highly recommended night market in Langkawi as it has a much cleaner ,longer trail of stalls to try and see . Night markets are a great way to explore Malaysian food and try local specialty too,for example here in Kuah Langkawi is famous with its Laksa Kedah,Nasi gulai kawah, pulut panggang ,colourful drinks and lots more! You can get cheap things like local fruits(durian, chempedak, rambutan ,manggis, etc) clothings, sheets, groceries, raw seafood ,toys & souvenirs as well.Kuah night market are the best one to explore in this island because it has a big variety of everything local and it's always busy from both crowds of local & international tourists. Tips:Bring an umbrella just incase it rains because there are no roofs here only stalls cordoned on a long public road.

If you are visiting langkawi Island, then you MUST visit the Kuah Pasar Malam (Night Market) which takes place twice a week, Wed and Sat. The best time to visit is around 6.00 PM, just before sunset when everything is fresh and nice. There are easily around 200 stalls that line up one long street in Kuah, and if you ask any local about the Kuah Pasar Malam, they will tell you where it is. Apparently, they are some other night markets located on Langkawi, but the one in Kuah is still the best one. You will find around 80% local food which is awesome! And about 20% of clothes, shoes and other items sold here. Here's some advice, go there and buy some local food to try as it will be one interesting gastronomical experience for you! The night market starts at about 5.00 PM till about 11.00 PM.

Variety of food u can find here.. But please think cafully before u buy.. I buy lamb chop size 4xl for rm20, it not really 4xl for me.. But i think its still okay, if they add sauce it will be much more better.. We but takoyaki, it taste good but i think the aunty was wrong, we order only prawn but we got few pcs chicken.. But its okay.. Next we buy seedless grape, thanks God we got at the right shop because we buy the cheapest one. Next we buy 'ayam bakar' it was good but i regret it, because we buy too many.. Next.. Hihi.. I still buying more which is satay.. But i love it.. So moral of the story.. Even u go more than one person like me ( i went there with my friend) please just but 1 or 2 type of food.. Coz if not u will fell regret.. Like me.. Or u can buy with a small portion.. Hurm, i'm not sure...
