⚠️If you plan to stay here, be very careful with the lobby parking, and don’t assume things will be properly explained or handled‼️
We stayed at Bali Residence for 2 days 1 night. The place was okay, but the parking experience really made us uncomfortable, so share this to remind others.
We had 2 cars — one parked at the space arranged by the host, the other was told to park at the lobby area, which needs to pay. When we tried to find the lobby parking during check in, we even asked the guard, but he said “Parking is not part of my job”, and asked us to check with “someone else in front”. We drove around but couldn’t find anyone.
Finally we parked the car. On the wall, there’s a sign clearly showing: RM10 per time (weekends), cut-off time 1PM. So we followed the rule.
We contacted someone in charge, who first said they’d come collect the fee at 5PM.then changed to 9AM next day. But no one showed up, even until we checked out at 12PM.
⚠️As we were driving off , Then a guy on motorbike took photos of our car, and chased after us asking for money. We gave him RM10 cash, but he said “after 9AM, it’s counted as second day, so RM20.”
We were only staying for 2D1N , checked in at 3PM and checked out at 12PM, all according to the standard timing. So why should we be charged for two full days of parking? The sign clearly says RM10 per day, and we didn’t even exceed 24 hours.💢I was shocked. I took photo of him, his motorbike, and the parking sign.🤬
It really made us wonder is that extra charge even official, or just going into someone’s own pocket?
The whole thing felt disorganized and unprofessional.
He even asked my family “why is she angry?” and “why take photo?”. Even after getting the money, he still followed our car to the exit and kept asking questions. Super weird and uncomfortable.
When we contacted Bali Residence management, they simply said “it’s under security, not our responsibility.” But the parking sign was clearly put up at the property, and no proper system was in place to manage it.
Honestly, as guests, we followed your parking notice and paid, but got treated like we were trying to...

Pros: 1. Check in was easy (since my check-in was after 6pm, they had placed the room keys inside the mailbox and provided guide with pictures and passcode to retrieve the keys). Room is clean. Iron and hairdryer provided. There is a washing machine and microwave. Drinking glasses, utensils and electric kettle as well. Nice pool for kids There is a minimart on ground floor and a shop selling nasi lemak, finger food and 3-in-1 coffee/tea on level 7 Easy check out procedures. Since I have check in late, i just need to put back the keys into the same mailbox and take photos as proof of keys returned.
Cons: We requested for rooms to be on same floor and next to each other. But they are not able accede to our request due to high volume of occupants. Not even rooms on same floor. Only 1 key provided for each room. Abit difficult if you have 2 families in 1 room and some may want to go to ground floor or level 7. The key is used to access lift lobby, in the lift to access to your room floor and carpark. 3. Towels and pillow covers provided have an unpleasant smell. I have used my own towel for shower and used another own towel to put on top of the pillow cover. There is no mirror in the room. The only mirror is in the toilet. No wardrobe in both bedrooms. They have provided 2 hanging rack with 10 hangers in master bedroom. Check out time is at 11am instead of 12pm. Late check out is chargeable at RM30/hr. There are 4 lifts but waiting time to get into the lifts may take about 20mins during check out timing cause it's jam packed. Everybody checking out at...
Read morei've stayed at this residence a few times, in different units. There are a bunch of them listed on Booking.com, Agoda, etc. So this review isn’t about one specific house, but the place overall. If you’re planning to come during public holidays or school breaks, here’s what you need to know.
The Lift Situation The lift was hell. Around 12PM when everyone’s heading to the pool, going out for lunch, or checking out, we had to wait almost TWO freaking hours just to get a lift. We were staying on level 37 so stairs weren’t an option. If you’re booking a place here, try to get a unit on a lower floor. And even when the lift came, it was full. Nobody gave a damn that you’re holding a baby, they just squeezed in and moved on. There are 4 lifts but the wait is still stupid long. I honestly don’t know how people living here do it during peak season.
The Pool Not sure what others experienced but for my kid, it wasn’t it. The children’s pool was packed, which I get because it was school holiday. But the smell. That pee smell had me questioning the hygiene. I’m guessing a lot of kids just peed in there, If you’re particular about cleanliness, maybe skip the pool, especially if you have babies. Or come when it’s off-season and quieter. My kid swam for about half an hour, came back, and had green poop. Doctor said it could be due to bacterial infection. So yeah, make of that...
