MOST of the attractions was opened. Tickets are Priced at RM75/Adult (Unlimited Rides) (CASHLESS ONLY) (Genting Electronic Money Card/ Aka GEM Card accepted). I HIGHLY RECOMMEND purchasing tickets online 1 DAY IN ADVANCE (At least) (NO SAME DAY BOOKINGS!) As it would save you a good amount of money!
Although it says Opens at 2pm. Ticket counter Opens as early as 1pm-1.30pm. Adult/Thrilling rides Only start operation at 3pm! As they run through a lot of testing to make sure that it’s safe and fully operational!! At 2pm only kiddy rides will be Open.
Height is a limitation here. But if you are anything more than 1.5m you will be able to ride most rides no problem.
I Recommend: Super Gilder (Roller Coaster). It’s quite Unique and thrilling as you will be laying down instead of sitting!! And it involves 2-3s 360degrees Turns!!
Spin Crazy. This ride is not for the faint hearted!! I would personally say this is the most thrilling ride in the Indoor theme park!!
Disco! It’s like a pirate ship ride but added spinning motion. Honestly quite fun and thrilling!!
Power Surge. Good attraction and thrilling. Intense spinning with height!!
Bumper Boss. It’s basically a bumper car ride. Quite normal. Excellent for adults to bully the kids 😂. But honestly this is the most fun ride without much thrill.
Sky Towers. Honestly quite boring the drop isn’t that extreme. Was expecting more thrill… But I recommend to bring your friends with Acrophobia (Fear of Heights) and once they are buckled in make sure to scare them more with words on how insane is the drop and how high it would bring them ect.
Balloon Race. Not much to write on this as I didn’t rode on this attraction because I was too motion sick from the other attractions. Nevertheless from the outside it looks fun and most patrons looks like having a good time.
For food recommendations: Pepper lunch is great! Price is quite friendly and portions are sufficient!! Miso Soup is great!!
Walk a little further to Level 4 “Genting Malaysia Food Street” you can find local delights like “Chicken Rice”, “Bak Ku Teh” and “Chicken Claypot Rice”.
There is a Harry Ramsden Fish and Chips around there too that is a must try. Chips are really nice and Crips! Fish is tender on the inside and crisp on the outside.
Feeling Fancy? You may try Beauty in the pot! I recommend the collagen soup base! Trust me this is one restaurant you WOULDN’T WANT TO MISS!!! I can’t think of another place you will be able to eat hot pot ON CLOUDS! Having Hot pot at a chilly temperature at night just hits different… Cost comes out to be around RM250 for 2pax....
Read moreDear Skytropolis Management,
I am writing to formally lodge a serious complaint regarding an extremely disappointing and upsetting incident that occurred during my visit to Skytropolis with my family on April 8, 2025.
While the overall experience and attractions were enjoyable at first, our visit was unfortunately tainted by the unprofessional and frankly unacceptable behavior of one of your staff members at the Power Surge ride—an individual named Haqiemy.
My 7-year-old nephew, who was too short to join the ride, stood excitedly outside the ride near the exit gate, watching us with joy and anticipation. As the ride was concluding and the exit gate was about to be opened, Mr. Haqiemy suddenly and aggressively shouted at him, telling him to move aside in a loud and disrespectful tone. His approach was so unnecessarily harsh that it startled and frightened my nephew.
When confronted by his mother—my sister, Mr. Haqiemy responded defensively and rudely, refusing to apologize and instead continuing with an uncooperative and dismissive attitude. It was only after my husband and I stepped in, and I began to take out my phone (to record or take a picture), that his tone noticeably shifted to be more polite—perhaps realizing he was being watched more closely.
This incident is deeply concerning. Skytropolis is a family entertainment venue—a place where children should feel safe, welcomed, and respected. Staff members, especially those positioned around children, should be properly trained in kindness, patience, and professionalism. What happened was the complete opposite of that expectation.
I will not forget this incident, nor the face of the man who caused unnecessary distress to a 7-year-old child. Mr. Haqiemy’s behavior was utterly inappropriate, and based on what we experienced, he does not represent the values of a children’s amusement park. Frankly, he should not be employed in an environment involving young children if this is how he treats them.
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously and handled with appropriate internal action. I would also appreciate a formal response outlining how this situation will be...
Read moreThe only cool theme park with countless dining options and all the shopping and dining you could ask for in Malaysia. This is Malaysia’s Las Vegas. There is something for everyone just bring enough money/credit card.
During public holidays, expect to spends hours in traffic jam before you get to Genting.
Plenty of parking at cable car station if you park at Awana station/Genting Premium outlet. Definitely go for express PASS during peak season instead of queuing for hours. Online purchase gets discount but senior citizens discount only available at ticket counter with ICs.
For big family of 4 and above, go for Theme park hotel where there are big family rooms and the hotel sits just in front of theme park entrance.
All the glitzy neon lights make for perfect photos. Kids will have a great time while adults will definitely feel the pinch of ringgit is a fast depreciating currency that won’t buy a lot of stuff. With ICs, the all day pass is RM75 and Pahang citizens pay only RM45.
Being the monopoly means you are definitely getting ripoff for hotel accommodation and everything you do here. Expect to pay oversea prices for overpriced hotel rooms (grainy TV, expensive cramped rooms, overpriced buffet) and dining.
Pls be aware if you want to go for outdoor theme park as it might close due to foggy and predictable weather conditions. Even if they extend park visit for another day, your schedule might not allow you to extend your park visit.
The biggest gripe is probably lack of seating around the indoor theme park area where parents/adults need to wait for kids for hours when the kids queue for theme park rides and the patrons that smoke/vape indoor next to the kids with no enforcement by the...
