I ordered 7 cups of milk tea through GrabFood but only received 6. When I contacted the restaurant, the response was unprofessional — the staff kept asking if I was really sure there were only 6 cups. Honestly, if I wanted to cheat over one missing drink, I would’ve just gone straight to GrabFood to report and get a refund. But I didn’t — because all I wanted was the missing milk tea, not a refund. Why would I waste time calling the restaurant if I wasn’t being honest?
To make things worse, I called several times at the beginning, and my calls were hung up three times. Only on the fourth attempt did someone finally stay on the line and speak to me. The staff said he would get back to me shortly after checking — but after about 20 minutes, there was still no response. So I called again, and we had to go through the exact same conversation all over again. The only difference this time? His tone had gotten noticeably worse and more dismissive.
He even admitted he hadn’t checked the CCTV yet — clearly trying to shift the blame back to me instead of resolving the issue. In the end, I still had to contact Grab and wait for a refund, instead of the restaurant simply replacing the missing drink.
Ridiculous experience. Poor service and attitude. Definitely not ordering...
Read moreToday, I try Avocado Yoghurt. I am not super fan of this Ben Gong’s Tea but I keep coming back to this outlet in Kota Damansara because of purely good service 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 This outlet staffs listen to customer needs and they execute it after they listen. That makes me feels appreciated and keep coming back to buy their drinks. My very first time visit, they gave me a free plastic tumbler. I suggest to them, if they give discount to me if everytime come back with the same tumbler. They agree. So I went back the second time and they honoured it. Do bear in mind it wasn’t in their business policy before I suggest it but they now implement it. So, I never regret supporting Ben Gong’s Tea in this...
Read moreBen Gong's Tea is a pleasant spot for refreshing tea-based desserts. Their bingsu-style treats, especially the watermelon and 铁观音 (Tie Guan Yin) versions, are delicious and well-balanced, not overly sweet and perfect for a hot day. The texture is light and smooth, and the toppings complement the flavors nicely.
Service is OK, as it's a self-service concept—you order and pay at the counter, then collect your dessert when ready. It's efficient, though not particularly personal.
The atmosphere is simple and cozy, making it a comfortable place to hang out or take a break. A nice option if you're craving something cold and refreshing with a touch of tea-inspired...
