I felt compelled to write this review to caution others about the disappointing experience I had at this restaurant, in the hopes of sparing their taste buds from a similar fate.

Upon arriving, I was warmly greeted at the door by a friendly older woman, and promptly attended to by a young server who was also very friendly. She took the time to carefully review the menu with me, even pointing out the restaurant's signature dishes. Given the reasonable prices, as well as the restaurant’s favourable Google reviews, I found myself developing high expectations for the dining experience.

Sadly, those high hopes were quickly crushed. When the dish I had ordered, a pan mee, was served, I eagerly anticipated my first bite. However, to my profound disappointment, the taste proved to be unacceptable - this dish doesn't even deserve to be called a pan mee. Making matters worse, I learned that this underwhelming offering was in fact one of the restaurant's signature items. While I typically refrain from passing blanket judgments on a restaurant based on a single subpar dish, when the chef's recommended specialty falls so short, it does little to inspire confidence in the rest of the menu.

The situation only worsened when, upon paying my bill of 18.60 ringgit with a 50 ringgit note, the cashier returned to me the exact 18.60 ringgit I had tendered, instead of providing the 31.40 ringgit change. I even had to walk the cashier through the proper way to calculate and provide the correct change. This startling oversight on the part of the staff only served to reinforce the impression of their overall lack of experience and competence.

In light of these issues, I would strongly caution anyone considering dining at this restaurant to reconsider, lest they find themselves subjected to a similarly disappointing and frustrating experience. In fact, even if they were to shower me with free meal vouchers, I wouldn't be tempted to return - not unless they were willing to pay me a cool 100,000 ringgit to set foot in that place again.

If you're looking for vegetarian restaurants, I'd recommend trying out some of the other vegetarian restaurants in the same area. Even though I haven't tried them before, I can't imagine they could be worse than this place - I'm honestly convinced this is the worst restaurant in the entire KD neighbourhood. If you're specifically craving some good pan mee, you might want to check out Super Kitchen, which is just a short walk from here. I've been eating there for years now, and they have very reasonable prices. They do offer vegetarian options, though you may want to call ahead to verify if the chilli is truly vegetarian, as it could potentially contain dried shrimp. But overall, I feel confident Super Kitchen will provide a much more satisfying pan mee experience than what I had to...

I am regular customer and have been to Jujube KD branch tonight for dinner, the restaurant not so crowded but I don't know why the staff keep making themselves look so busy, especially the Chinese guy wear the spec. We kept waving him to ask for order and push the bell 2 times, only second time he came to take order with rush. After we ordered he shows his very rude attitude like take out the menu immediately in front of us ( this scenario the manager can check through the CCTV, so can know how rude is he). We felt disrespect , no mood to enjoy and decided to cancel the order, after that we move to another restaurant. We came to pay for the service n food, we not came for asking free food. Customers bring revenue to your restaurant should be respected them.

Owner of Jujube KD branch pls seriously pay attention to the customer service here, especially should traning or take action on the Chinese guy who wear the spec, he spoiled this branch and make customers like us never want to return anymore. This is the second time he so rude with us, last time is return the change. When the restaurant just opened a few years ago, under the manage of Chinese woman manager is very good service. Now totally so bad. Would definitely never support Jujube KD unless they change their management in...

Price is reasonable and food is good and delicious.

However, we encountered some bumps in their customer service. We went to have dinner today (lunar 15th day). The restaurant was busy, but we were seated promptly. After we placed our order, we waited for very long before they started to serve our food. After the 1st dish (stir fry lettuce), the other dishes stopped coming, so we reminded them again. And then the 2nd dish (braised tofu) came after 10 mins. When we saw the other people who came later also getting their food, we knew they probably forgot our orders. We had to remind them again. Our 3rd dish (deep fried spring rolls) came out after, but we had to wait may be another 15 mins between the 3rd and 4th dish being served. Our other dished were, Nasi lemak, creamy curry buttered pan mee, wat tan hor and another plate of spring rolls.

They may need to re-organize and make sure they serve their customers in the correct order.

One of the girl servers has very long hair tied into a pony tail and the hair kept swinging into the back of my friend's head which made my friend felt a little uncomfortable everytime she walked behind her.

Parking is not easy...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jujubee Vegetarian House, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience! The food was absolutely delicious, and I was really impressed by the variety and quality. The Chili Panmee was fantastic, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The Buttermilk Mushroom from the special menu was a real highlight as well, creamy and rich with the perfect balance of flavor. My partner is a huge fan of their vegetarian fish, and it did not disappoint. It's incredibly well-seasoned and has a great texture that makes it feel like the real thing. The Sweet and Sour "Pork" was another standout dish. The sauce was spot on, tangy and sweet. It’s hard to believe that all these dishes are vegetarian! What truly made this experience memorable, though, was the service. The staff at Jujubee Vegetarian House were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very knowledgeable about the menu. Overall, I highly recommend Jujubee Vegetarian House for anyone looking for a delicious, satisfying vegetarian meal with exceptional service. It’s definitely one of our favorite spots, and we’ll be back soon!

I’m so glad my husband agreed to join us at this vegetarian restaurant, especially since he’s usually not fond of vegetarian food. He was intrigued by the creamy butter crispy abalone mushroom rice after seeing other customers order it, so he gave it a try. The waitress also recommended the Today’s Special – a creamy curry vege fish (rice) – and we decided to order that too. My sister, not wanting to miss out, ordered the signature Wat Dan Hor, noting that the “double good” label meant it was a popular choice. She was hoping it lived up to the hype, and it definitely did! To our delight, all the dishes were gone in minutes because they were so tasty. The flavors were spot-on, and everyone left completely satisfied. We even ordered their refreshing fruit tea, which was a perfect complement to the meal. It’s a great spot for anyone who’s hesitant about vegetarian food. I highly recommend giving it a try—you might end up loving it as much as we did! We’ll definitely be back again.
