H Boutique Hotel Kota Damansara — Hotel in Petaling Jaya

Very bad experience about their customer service and the system of the hotel. I booked for 6 nights. In the 3rd night, I went back from training at 4am but I realized my access card was not functioning. There is NO ONE from the hotel can support me. They off work at 11pm everyday and after that time, I can't find anyone. Even there's no hotline to call. The only number I can contact is the office number at the counter, it couldn't reach to anyone. I'm so disappointed that the hotel is actually leaving all the guest in the hotel and no one cares for the guest.

The next day I checked with the front desk and the lady said the setting for my card was valid until the 2nd night only. Hello? And then I requested for refund. The staff are so irresponsible about their mistake. They didn't apologized, they promise to check with supervisor and boss and will WhatsApp me but it never happen. I have to approach them everyday personally. My schedule is so packed and I need to chase after them to give me feedback. And then they asked me check with Agoda since I booked from Agoda. I understand. But I need some proof to show Agoda that I wasn't able to access the room on that day.The lady initially said they cannot do in this way. But I explained nicely to her that I'm not asking them to help me request for refund, it's jz a letter to confirm I'm nt able to access. Again, the lady said will check with boss and get back to me. She never revert. The last day when I checked out, it's another new member on duty. I asked him to remind the supervisor to revert to me. I never receive any feedback.

I want to speak to someone but seems there's no one will attain to this issue and I've no choice to try whatever way to leave a very bad review for them. 2-star hotel I never expect too much, but this kind of attitude I don't think I should take it just because it's...

Initially, I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel, even for one night, based on my first experience. I checked in for two nights and, regrettably, didn’t read the reviews beforehand.

At RM 130.00 per night (excluding taxes), it did not meet expectations. The bed was uncomfortable, the pillows were flat, and the room felt old and poorly maintained.

The worst part was the air conditioner—it hadn’t been serviced, and when I turned it on, a foul smell filled the room. It made for a very unpleasant first night.

However, things took a turn on the second night when the staff, after hearing about our concerns, kindly upgraded us to a Deluxe Queen room with windows. This room was a world of difference. The cleanliness was much better, the air conditioner was brand new, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable. The room had a modern feel to it, unlike the one we had originally been given. It was evident that more care had been taken with this room’s upkeep, or perhaps it has been refurbiahed and it significantly improved our experience.

While the upgrade made the rest of our stay much more enjoyable, it’s unfortunate that the initial room was so far below standard. The inconsistency between the rooms suggests that not all accommodations here are of the same quality.
