SS2 3333 Durian King? More like King of Con. Honestly, one of the worst durian experiences I’ve had — not just in PJ, but possibly the whole of Malaysia. We arrived around 7:39 PM to find the place already packed. The concept here is: you choose from a stacked pile of durians, they pick the fruit for you, open it, toss it in a basket, and you grab a table to eat. Sounds straightforward, but what followed was far from pleasant. Started with 3 Musang King (RM100 total) — the price seemed fair. All 3 fruits were tiny, but fine, I accepted that. One of them, however, was overripe and watery. Thankfully, a Chinese uncle with a red birthmark on his face stepped in and offered to replace it. The others were decent — creamy, pungent, small seeds — typical Musang King taste. Still feeling unsatisfied, I went for 2 D24s at RM20 each. This time, a Bangladeshi staff opened them. First one: watery and overripe. Second one: tasted okay, but for a 1+ kg durian, only had two seeds. I requested an exchange — the Bangla refused at first, but again, the same Chinese uncle intervened and allowed a replacement. Unfortunately, both the new D24s were below par. The worst part came when another Chinese uncle (not the helpful one) overheard us complaining and decided to school us: “If you want to eat nice durian, don’t buy the cheap ones.” He smugly explained that the durians on display racks are the premium ones, and the stacked ones are lower quality. He even had the audacity to say, “Don’t expect RM20 durians to be good.” Excuse me? RM20 per fruit is not cheap per se, and as paying customers, we deserve respect and honesty, not attitude. In total, I spent RM140 for 5 durians, and only got mediocre fruits and a bad taste in my mouth — literally and figuratively. This was my first and definitely my last visit to SS2 3333 Durian King. There are plenty of honest durian sellers out there. Avoid this one at all costs.

Black thorn was Rm98/kg, Musang king Rm58/kg We informed the young guy the black thorn is unripe and the colour is white & tough to eat. He stand there with black face like we owed him🙄. Then later we called an old uncle , he said black thorn all like that , so he replace Musang King for us. But I said is not fair, the price is so much different and I bought the black thorn and end up replace half of musang king. He smiled and walk away. I dowan to argue further bcos this is my FIRST & LAST here. 2 small biji cost me Rm222.78 and end up not what I wan to eat.

What A Total Ripoff!!! 2 seeds of spoilt durian for 106 ringgit and the staff refused to change. Talked to the boss he instead blamed us for choosing the cheaper durians. As a customer who just want to enjoy our time eating Malaysia Durians, we were treated like we owed them something. Worst attitude I have came across in a long time. It’s not 1 star, it should be 0 star. 丢尽马来西亚的脸. TOURIST DO NOT PATRONISE THIS SHOP!! Lookout for fake 5 star reviews, most of the reviewers only have 1 review

Bad experience eating here. Will not repeat again. Very rude staff acted like we want to eat durian for free. Do you see us like thief?

First uncle treated us very good. He said eat first then pay and mentioned there is free water for us & brought us to the table with fan.

We buy the 5 durian for RM100 & the uncle give another 1 durian for free. Total is 6 durian but we managed to eat on 4. We decided to tapau the other 2 that we can't finished. My brother went to the front, to add another 2 Musang King RM100 for tapau. The second uncle said please pay first. I went to the counter & paid RM200 for what we eat & the two other Musang King. My brother show to him the receipt & he gave the durian.

Then we went to the tapau counter, the staff assisted us for take away. Then, the second uncle come and asked if we already pay for the durian. My brother said he already showed to him the receipt earlier, less than 1 minute. Then he keep ranting if front of us. He already dishonest from earlier. I want to picked my own Musang King but he insisted the other basket also is Musang King but I realised after tapau he might be lying.

Please don't treat your customer like trash. Only 1 uncle & 1 staff there is...

Regretted so much coming here. The place advertised promotions so attractive and there's aircond room. Since they're strategic located, a lot people just keep flooding in. Mostly tourists are brought here.

My family and I came here yesterday, RM48/kg for udang merah, my sister chose the smallest one, it's really small but still RM60 a biji and inside flesh only hard, just a few small pieces not even worth RM60. Regret max as other stalls RM29 for pulp box promo is so much tastier than this!!!!

Another issue we encounter is how they try to rip ppl off. My mom was selecting a durian but without even weighting and letting her know how much, the indian guy proceeded to cut it open (means YOURS ALREADY LAH) then brought to the table with the weigh price sticker, shock die everyone for that TEKA RM177++ AND GUESS WHAT? THE TEKA NOT NICE. It's either too young or what?! what a waste of RM177. NO TASTE, BLAND, PALE TEKA.

Our table had 3 durians so our bill came to RM290! This kinda of way is like mechanic fixing ur car and shocking you will the bill later. BAN THIS...
