D tours kuala selangor sky mirror& Eagle feeding tour — Attraction in Selangor

We booked tickets for the firefly tours 2 days in advance to make sure we can join the tour. It took us 1.5 hours from Kl to Kuala Selangor. We were among the first guests to arrive at the ticket counter. We were told it is a first come first join the tour. So, all seemed good. On the jetty one big tour group after the other came and boarded the boats. There was no organization at all. Upon asking when our turn is the unqualified woman told us just wait, just wait all the time. After about one hour waiting, we realized, they did not have any boat left. Nobody told us. About 20 guests were not able to join the tour. Then we had to fight for our money being returned. We should get the refund online, we were told. Only after heavy and noisy complaint did we get the moeny back. They were selling tickets beyond their seating capacity. This indicates that they have no SOPs or responsibilty whatsover in place. I feel like the trip was mediocre.

1. The dinner that was within our package wasn’t very good. Service was slow and bad.
2. When we went to see the fireflies, there was not a lot at all. Not as advertised.
3. When we went to see the Blue Tears, it wasn’t as advertised as well. It wasn’t as bright as we expected.
4. We booked a 8.45am trip to the Sky Mirror but the boat did not arrive till 9.35am. We should not have to wait this long.

The Kuala Selangor trip did not meet my expectations. The photographs on the internet are misleading, as the eagles are too far away to capture a decent photograph. Additionally, there were few fireflies visible, and the blue sea effect was barely noticeable. I would not recommend this excursion to anyone, as it is a waste of money.
