Red Carpet Wax Museum and Red Carpet 2 are fun additions to i-City's growing list of tourist attractions. Red Carpet is described as the 'first all-star interactive wax museum' in Malaysia. The wax museum is housed in a bright red building next to the multi-store car park.Mr. Bean is one of the first wax models you will see, greeting guests as they proceed upstairs. The exhibits are arranged in various themed zones comprising world leaders, historical, political and business icons, Asian and Western movie stars, martial artists, pop stars, sports stars and others. Some are more realistic than others.if you have ever been to a Madame Tussauds museum you will know what to expect though the range and quality of the exhibits at Red Carpet may not be high as at Madame Tussauds. Not sure why it is called 'interactive' because the waxworks do not move. But there are spare seats and props next to the exhibits so that visitors can blend into the scene when taking a 'selfie'. Presidents Obama and Putin, The Queen, William and Kate, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Napoleon, Kofi Annan, Mao Zedong, Yasser Arafat, Bill Gates, Einstein, Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Michelle Yeoh, John Travolta, Audrey Hepburn, Tiger Woods, Messi, the Beckhams and many more.Enjoyable if you are a fan of wax museums or a lover of celebrities. Not cheap, especially for foreign visitors but prices reduced since my visit. Since my visit, the wax museum has been expanded by opening Red Carpet 2 where visitors can pose alongside their favourite film stars, action heroes, K-pop stars, royals and other celebrities.

Title: Interesting Concept, But Falls Short on Realism Review: The Red Carpet Wax Museum at i-City is a fun addition to the tourist attractions in the area. Housed in a vibrant red building next to the car park, it claims to be the 'first all-star interactive wax museum' in Malaysia. However, my experience was mixed. While it's an interesting concept, the realism of the wax celebrities, especially the Asian icons, falls short—approximately 85% did not match the real person. There's room for improvement in the craftsmanship to enhance the overall experience. The museum features a diverse array of famous figures, including presidents, royalty, and celebrities, but the execution could use more attention to detail. The ticket price may not be justified considering the disparity between the wax figures and their real counterparts.
