The locals say this is one of the best seafood places in TJ so had to try it with my coworkers. Right when you get in, there is Valet parking. We walked over to the Julio Caesar Chavez table, the thing is massive. Got a table of 3 and they started us off with chips & salsa. As for food we ordered the: Diablo Roll (Slightly spicy stuff with Marlin, Tempura Shrimp, Cream Cheese, Avocado and Surimi. Wrapped in Salmon and Tuna with Shrimp as a topping), Rollo Villa Marina Horneado (Stuffed with Cream Cheese, Avocado and Crab. Wrapped in Smoked Salmon, over Unagi Sauce and covered with Coriander Dressing with Seaweed Salad), Cazuela De Pulpo Mongol (Salted with Red Snapper, Garlic Sauce, Chipotle and Fried Grated Potato), Ostiones Rockefeller (Oysters topped with butter, parsley, green herbs, bread crumbs) and Alemjas Preparadas or Prepared Clams (it was pretty much Clam Ceviche). Our favorite was the Baked Villa Marina Roll, that tasted super super good or as my Mexican coworkers say "Muy Rico". Also the Mongolian Octopus was super super good, I am not a fan of Octopus but this was definitely different. It had the nice char to it. The drinks we got were: Sangria Preparada, Villa Marina Blonde Beer, Amstel, Margarita Black Berry (Bittersweet Margarita made with Lime, Agave Nectar, Tequila Don Julio Blanco, Grand Marnier & Berries), Agua Natural and Villa Marina Ginger. The Blackberry Margarita was one of the best I've ever had, it didn't taste like alcohol, tasted sweet but also had a balance of salt and spicy from the Tajin Rim. One of the best drinks I've ever had. The beers were really good as well especially for being brewed in house. Overall super great restaurant and would recommend it to everyone.

As usual, another seafood place that does not exceptionally standout for me. I'm not much of a seafood person. There is one other one I love, so my review is based in comparison to that. Sitting right now almost center of the restaurant, I'm getting a cigarette smell but can't determine from where it's coming. The tortilla snacks and salsas were good. I ordered clam chowder, it was served in a bread bowl. It was okay. I had hope for a regular bowl. My father had ordered fish steak, but got the whole fish instead and we felt obligated to just go through with the plate. My dad said he did enjoy it, so that's good. Haven't received the check, so hopefully it's not too much. In comparison, I believe this restaurant has some dishes pricier than other restaurants. But not all of them. Some seem cheaper. The waiters were nice, so was the valet. Clean restrooms, lotion is available, air, hand-drier or paper towels. Besides the typical drinks, they had cucumber water, horchata (what I had, it was not too sweet, it was good). Kahlua with vanilla ice cream was complementary. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5

Fabulous food, fabulous service and great prices. The menu is extensive. There were at least 7 pages and I had the feeling if I didn't see something they could still make it. There are simple seafood tacos, a variety of ceviches, at least 7 soups, some of which are a full meal, sushi and sashimi that are delicious, creative and beautiful, and all kinds of other fish dishes. The service was impeccable. We had an elegant table with table cloth and soft napkins that were handed to us. The waiters (plural) made sure everything was perfect and easily conversed in both Spanish and English. Even the sushi chef came over to speak with us. His hamachi (yellowtail) roll was exquisite and came with two different complementary sauces instead of basic soy. We also had amazing mojitos and added in shots of tequila as we dined. The 6 dishes, plus a hamachi roll to go, the alcohol and drinks came to $60 U.S. for two. I can't imagine this quality/quantity for less than $300 in L.A. or N.Y.

The service was terrible I ordered chicken nuggets for my daughter and I got fish God knows what. I ordered a medium ribeye and shrimp well other than them taking an eternity it was it was past well done and it was all fat nerves I practically pain for a Bentley and got a crappy Honda. The 3 little shrimp on it looked ok I guess . My stake was served with 3 "shrimp" a blob of guacamole and refried beans 🤔 yes refried beans I could have had beans and guacamole at he if that's what I wanted. Oh to top it off I came with a backed potato that potato was so hard and crusty it seemed like it was baked the week before. it makes sense though because the employees don't know what they are serving they are based on the menue. my server tried convincing me that the stake he served me was a ribeye that was definitely not ribeye. our drinks were lemonade and we sent back and had to ask for regular water because it was supper sour and sweet. So I'd fire the person in charge of the kitchen and the person in charge of the floor you shouldn't have to wait 15 minutes for a water and they should know the food so they can take a look at it before it comes out that way they catch the error before it gets to the customer. The sad thing is that it's not the first time I go "eat" there I used the "" because the first time I was there everyone received their food except me and to make up for not bringing out my food everyone got a complimentar drink well everyone but me because they forgot again it's as if I wasn't there

I would never go eat there again unless I want to be over charges for crappy...
