Read moreFirst, you got the annoying people asking you for parking money but the parking is free. Typical scammer making money while not working. I felt obliged to give some cause i didn't know if they damage cars (like they do in Mexico city) if you don't give them any tip.
Second, the bathrooms were closed and it was around 5pm. 🙄 I'm glad I only needed to pee !!
Third, it's great overall ! But if you go there to swim, know that the waves crashes close to shore and that makes it less friendly in general. The sand get tossed around a lot in the water too (at least when you enter the ocean).
I'm a fairly good swimmer and decided to swim pass the first break and chill in the area where there was somewhat of a crest (before an other area where the wave started to brake) I wasn't far. I managed to enjoying being brought up and down in between both "wave break" but it surprisingly took me more energy than i thought to come back to the shore. You use a wave to swim back towards the shore but when the current returns toward the ocean, you gotta keep swimming against it. That I know and can do. But the pull is definitely strong and so, I suggest you only get adventurous if you feel very strong.
Overall, not the best for actual swimming...

Showers and restroom facilities are available, which is a nice bonus, but be aware that all services, including the facilities, are turned off by 5 PM. This can be inconvenient if you’re planning to stay later into the evening.
The water is stunning, but the current is extremely strong here and can be quite dangerous, especially for children or inexperienced swimmers. It’s definitely something to keep in mind before going in too deep.
One downside is that there are no chair or umbrella rentals, so be sure to bring your own if you plan to stay a while. Overall, it’s a solid beach for a quick visit or a few hours of sun, but it’s best suited for prepared visitors who don’t mind a more...
