Amazing churros and hot chocolate can be found at this chain all across Mexico City. The churros are huge (1-2 are enough depending on how big of a snack you want this to be) and crispier than ones I’ve had in the past. The dipping chocolate pairs well, but so does a cup of hot chocolate - just be careful because it comes out scalding hot. The line moves quickly so don’t be scared off by it if you happen across one. And all of the locations I’ve been to were good! This one has lots of seating.

Sugar! Sugar! Sugar! It’s everywhere! I understand that churros should be coated with sugar but why would you add so much of it in everything, including drinks! Hot chocolate (a traditional Mexican version) would taste much better if it would be without added sugar! Churros were quite overcooked and dry. Overall I’m not a fan of this kind of places but I should have tried while in Mexico City. other people who have a sweet tooth would be happy here for sure!

The Churros are great, flavorful, fresh and well fried. The service though…A LOT TO IMPROVE. We were there for half an hour, there was literally no one in te restaurant apart from 2 people sitting having their churros - the service was SOOOOO SLOWWWWWWWW and the lady in cash register seemed very upset at life. The most frustrating thing is that the whole time we were there we could not use the toilets because they were cleaning them (for half an hour) we asked the lady a couple times if we could go in and she said many times (in a very rude manner) they were cleaning. I knocked on the door before and a lady opened and said they are cleaning, the bathroom was clean and literally less than a meter squared. At least 5 people tried to get into the toilet and it’s still a mystery to be solved.

Excellent cafe to get early morning, afternoon or evening coffee, hot chocolate, and shakes to have along with your Churros! My favorite place to get my fix of the deep fried dough with sugar or sugar and cinnamon sprinked on top. YUMMY!! No other churro place comes close. If you are in Mexico City, there is one El Moro Churros. Just look for the blue and white tiles. Bon Appetit!

Malteadas, chocolate drinks and other sweet items are available, but the thing here is the churros, very tasty, not oily at all and you can choose then with plain sugar or with cinnamon. Moritos, tiny churros, are also a great option. But do not buy their chocolate bars, they are terrible. This El Moro branch is huge with plenty of seating inside and rocking chairs outside.
