Overall I like this place. It was friendly. Rosie the receptionist is very nice. I paid 500 pesos for a five day pass. I always went mid-day so it was never very busy. I was surprised to find machines that I’d never seen before like the deadlift machine and the supine squat - and when you’ve been to a million gyms in a jillion different countries, that is rare.
Some of the machines are hilariously placed facing each other inches apart so you get to shoulder press into someone’s eyes as they chest press intensely back into yours lol.
Who designs these places?
They have a cafe upstairs that I never saw anyone at - on my last day, a Friday, I thought I’d check it out and it was closed so that was perplexing…
There’s no place to stretch or use the few stability balls and/or bosu though there is a small fitness studio upstairs that is locked - I guess only for classes.
The cleaning protocols seem strange, there’s some very questionable cloths randomly strewn about that look like they’d make the machine’s dirtier by using them however there is a guy that is always cleaning everything especially the floors as if his life depended on it.
You need someone’s finger print to get in and out of the place which is hilarious as I was actually following around guys asking if I could borrow their finger for a moment just to escape. Anyways it was fine and I may go back one day just to see whose finger I...
Read moreI am obsessed with this gym! It is clean and well-maintained and has everything I need for a perfect workout. What I really love is the staff. Danny, a trainer at Fitness Addiction, is so kind and helpful. Anytime I have a question, he is always there to help and is so patient and kind. He is helpful to everyone! Front desk staff is awesome too including Frida and the owners. I'm so happy that I live 90 seconds away. Additionally, the place is never super crowded. I have never had to wait for a bench or machine. It seems like the people who frequent the gym are all buddies. It's super chill. I...
