Las Helodias — Restaurant in Playa del Carmen

Yesterday We stopped in for food after the beach in the evening for bite to eat. The staff was fantastic, very welcoming.

The food is delicious! We did the nachos, shrimp & guacamole, as well the chicken wings. During dinner our table got talking about song, and I went and asked the staff if they could put it on after the song that was playing (they had music in the background). They put the song on for us, 9 more song requests later.... was an amazing time.

Probably best coctails deal you can get near 5th avenue. Prices are more than ok ($115 for 1 lt!) and cocktails itself are generous and tasty. Great place to visit while in Playa. Great atmosphere and theme. I had the tostadas de camarones, ceviche, and the agua chile, all which were great. The micheladas are also very good. It's a great place to get a quick bite to eat or you can hang out longer and enjoy the food and music. I visited this place twice...
