Cattarissimo — Attraction in Kotor

In my opinion, worst ice-cream that I had so far. I was convinced by its positive reviews to take a break there and to buy a cup with three scoops. I really like homemade sorbets. However, I don't think this one was homemade. There were literally ices in ice-cream it was not smooth at all and the blackBerry sorbet tastes sour. I didn't finish the ice cream and I preferred to throw it away, but still I got stomachache later on the day :(. Also I found the music that they were passing very annoying and loud you can hardly have a talk (still you can take the ice-cream to go) and the waitress was quite "unfriendly' (maybe she was annoyed by the music too). So no tips for a beer from me . It could be bad luck or maybe it could be a bad day or the sorbet was a bad choice, but my overall experience was negative and I think it is possible to find better for 2.5 EUR...

Been in Kotor for two days now and happened to come to Cattarissimo both evenings after dinner .

On the 1st night , ate Pistachio cheesecake, Mango cheesecake, and a Krempeta. On the 2nd night, tried their ice creams and I am in love with their desserts.

Not only are their desserts really good, their service is commendable too.

Update 3.11.2024- Of my 6 days in Kotor, this was my go to dessert and coffee place each day .

A gentleman named Vasilije and wonderful ladies Lana and Ivanna are pleasant and wonderful hosts. They always wear a smile and are always happy to help.

Thank you guys, you’ve become our favourite coffee shop and dessert place in Kotor .

I got a very small cup of iced latte (the volume is mostly taken up by ice) that costs 4 eur. This is not an appropriate price for such a product. Also their panflet advertises a completely different cup size and cup form as provided in reality, which I personally view as a dishonest business practice. Just to give a reference for a comparative cost/quality analysis: I got a 2.5x larger cup of hot coffee product (no ice inside taking up all the volume) made of freshly grinded high quality coffee beans in Budva for 3.8 Eur. The name of the place is North Coffee shop. Cattarissimo gets an additional star only for the nice atmosphere the place...
