Indian Food Store Eindhoven — Attraction in Eindhoven

The best Indian grocery store in Eindhoven. Excellent location near the city center. The best thing about this shop is the range of products. You get almost everything that you would need for an Indian taste (South/North/East/West). I have been visiting this shop regularly for over 2 years and am very satisfied.

I'm quite surprised at the many negative feedbacks posted here. The comments about the attitude and behaviour of the owner are simply uncalled for. I have always found him amicable and pleasant to interact with. Always greets you when you enter or leave and also answers questions politely.

Regarding comments about the items being expensive, I would ask what is the comparison benchmark? Prices of such items are high all over Eindhoven. Definitely not 50-100% higher, as some of the reviewers have commented!! Seriously? I found that the prices are more-or-less similar (for some items, even lower) to the other Indian grocery stores in Eindhoven. I'm surprised how those other shops, with less than half the product assortment, get a higher rating on google than this store.

If you are in Eindhoven, and need Indian groceries, this is the shop for you. Unless you have the time to roam around 10 different shops to 'possibly' save a few cents. I can already tell you that most of those other shops would not even have the stuff that you need.

You can get almost all indian food items here. Store is nicely arranged. You can get all types of Indian masalas, breakfast items, ready to cook items, frozen rotis. Additionally you can get Samosas or Kachoris based on availability. In Vegetables you can get Ladyfinger (bhindi), Sweetpotato, Coriander, Ginger , Potato, Green Chillies, Onions, Garlic etc. You can get Wheat chakki atta, Rice Grains, oils, pickles, all the...

Wide variety of products, and clean. it is a little more expensive than other Indian stores I have visited but they are distinguished by their quality and order.

I didn't find pure henna, only options mixed with ingredients that weren't to my taste.

They open a little late. (11 am), so if you need to buy something you have to organize yourself well because you won't be able to do it early in the morning of the day...
