This turkish is the best place to get food in the Mount Maunganui area. Both the quality and the quantity of the food is great. If you're a hungry festival goer or just want a fresh and delicious bite to eat this place will hit the spot evey time. There are vegetarian options if you're into that and lamb and chicken if you're not. On a no carbs diet? no problem there are delicious salads which will satisfy. The atmosphere of the place is also top notch with a recent facelift and new ownership, to an absolute legend of a guy, you'll be having a bit of banter in no time. Take away pickup so didn’t stick around for the atmosphere. Dropped in and placed an order for 4 adults and 2 children both mains and some desserts. Took my old man across the road for a beer for father’s days for 20minutes while the order was prepared. Picked it up 15-20mins later. Walked up to the house to have a great healthy takeaway for the kids and my parents. Good nutrient food at great value. Order was 2 x lamb and rice, 1 x mixed salad, 1x lamb salad and 2 x chicken wraps and 4 falafel and a small selection of deserts. Order was on time, food was bloody awesome, service was super friendly and they even managed to throw in a couple of extra Turkish deserts for the adults as a thank you.

" Eyes too big for your stomach" - a phrase heard many a times as a youngster 😀 Nothin' much has changed! I ordered the large Iskender n it came Large! Fabulous on the eyes Fabulous on the palate. What added to was the check-in, darnn I didn't get his name nor check b4 posting - to do list it is, by our chef/owner as to how our dinner was going. I mean most establishments as such not the norm? Ok back to food, the rice!! You eat on top some n get to the bottom n at times a disappoint BUT the bed of rice was perfect! Yum! Chicken was perfect, array of sauces delish, lotsa salad love, grwat portions of meat salad rice. Fabulous atmosphere, all those wraps on the grill tells you how good it is.
