I am a regular customer of your restaurant. I just had an early Sunday dinner after 5pm, the food was amazing and service was awesome as usual. Then I checked out the bill and this man who has a round face with a beard (a cashier or manager) ruined the whole good experience. There was 50 cents on my bill, so I asked if it was a surcharge. This guy says " I don't know, it may be if you pay by credit card' and he pointed the surcharge fee to me. I explained to him that this is a Efpos card not a credit card, there shouldn't be any surcharge. Then he raised his voice and yelled to me in front of all the customers' ' I don't know why you are arguing with me". Then he turned his head back and said some words non English (in his mother language), though I cannot understand them but they sound like very bad swearing words. Unbelievably rude! Then he went checked the bill and told me that 50 cents is the bill itself not the surcharge. That's what he needs to do at the first beginning!!! Checked the dish price on the bill if any customer has question insteading of misleading them telling them that's a surcharge and rise the confusion!!! It was a very small issue and can be easily dealt with by double checking the bill and explaining to the customer what the 50 cents is. This man's bad communication skill totally ruined the whole good restaurant experience. He isn’t a helpful person at all and he needs to be trained with basic customer friendly language. If he is the manager, definitely he is not the capable...
Read moreVery disappointed with the all service in general, we went last night, arrived around 7.45pm and ask if they had any table for two? They said yes but they might close the restaurant early so if we could be quick to order! Ok , then right away I decided to use the bathroom to wash my hand by the time I came back and just sat down the waitress arrived and ask if we are ready to order? I said I need a minute or two I didn’t even looked at the menu yet.... so she just stand there waiting for us to tell her what we wanted. We ordered 2 starters and 2 mains and unfortunately when the started arrived literally 3 minutes later the mains where here too!!! we were a bit surprised and the waitress said oh lucky for you, you sitting on a table of four so you can push the starters aside. Not professional at all And no napkins or knives or forks where given to us.... very disappointed we felt Rushed right from the start. If you wanted to close early it’s fine but don’t accept new client ! Not very...
Read moreHugely disappointed, we loved this place when we were last at the Mount. 4 young girls were more interested in chatting with each other and another girl who sat at the bar. The place only had about 10 diners, we were a party of 4, a 6 year old, 1 year old and 2 adults. We sat and waited to order and after about 15 minutes I went up to order drinks and food as the girls continued chatting. Looking around it appears that this was the service everyone was receiving. We ordered Prawn tacos, these tasted a bit funky, my son wouldn’t eat them at all. The ribs were dry and the Nachos were left. Churro’s were too soft and the cream was flat. Apart from the Mocktail we left our last night of eating at the Mount wishing we cooked at home or got fish and chips and went to the beach. Wasn’t a cheap meal either. I don’t like leaving negative reviews but I’m hoping this will provoke action for...
