Worst online shopping experience in my life. I ordered dry groceries like rice online, there are heaps of stock they showed in website. The order was submitted and got confirmation with email. But a week later just 10 mins before pickup time, they then sent me message to notice me there are no stock anymore. But I already arrived to the store. I tired to go to customer service in store to ask what is going on, the staff told me this is online store problem that the store can’t help and asked me to enquire online. I then contacted customer service online and told the story, one staff named Shane refused to help and closed the chat room by himself. I then find another person to help, she explained to me they only know the stock when picking up on the day to retain the product in fresh, how come i only bought dry groceries, how do you make the rice become fresher? If there is no stock, don’t sell it to customers and confirm the order! Again there is no solution provided, at the end she said she will help me to cancel the order. However, two days later, my bank showed me Woolworths charge me money for the order which I didn’t receive anything. That’s ridiculous! I have to find the online customer service again to ask for the refund. the staff said she didn’t see the previous staff helped me to cancel order. She helped to process just now. I will see how is going. But that’s totally wasting my time, I will never do the online shopping in Woolworths again,...
Read moreHonestly I was always very skeptical about click to collect until some circumstances made me do it for the first time. Then I did it again at the different store - Church Corner Woolies, same amazing experience. Actually Woolies personal shoppers did the shopping better than I would and I am a picky and sassy shopper, I don't even trust my family to do the shopping for me! I was utterly impressed. Best items ever picked and I was shopping across the range of fresh and tricky produce, breads, bulk items. Once I wanted only ONE chunky carrot and got the exact thing, perfect one! And another super important thing taken from this experience - it saves me not only heaps of time to click&collect, it helps me budget. It is free over certain $$ (which we spent @ supermarkets anyway) and I get exactly what I want and I never go overboard by adding an item here and item there so I actually end up spending less then intended and feel great about it.Finally,$1.50 paid for paper bags per round of click to collect is also $ spent well. These are perfect for weekly recucable items which can be placed directly into the yellow bin. So ++++ only and great thank you for being my smart shoppers. Life and budget savers indeed! Will keep doing...
Read moreThere seem to be a lot of expired products on the shelves lately. I find each week when I am going in that items from the fridge to shelf items have expired. You have to be extra careful with the potato chips as staff push them too hard onto the shelf that it bursts the bags. I have been caught out several times getting home only to find the bags already open. I think the people stocking the shelves need training on bringing older product to the front of the shelf rather than just putting new product at the front and rotating the products. You have to check the items so carefully to check it hasn't already expired. Why is there so much old expired stock around on your shelves? It is also against the consumer guarantee act to advertise products on sale when it is the same price they normally are something I have seen happen in this supermarket many many times. Some of your checkout operators are really good at packing your groceries and some need some more training because eggs don't go under milk and if there are more bags to use then use them. You don't have to cram all the groceries into 1 or 2 bags...
