Farmers WestCity — Attraction in Henderson-Massey

Stepped into the farmers and employees began to stereotype my friend and I, we started to pick up products to look at the product details etc. a female employee who looked like the manager started noticeably circling us. (we have been in here for 2 minutes) giving us looks for no reason at all. and then a security guard came up to us questioning me about the product that I had been holding to look at which I had put back within 20 seconds and got up in our face. he began to began to aggressively ask us where I had put the product and I told where I have put it back and pointed at it he laughed then walked away. The manager to circle us while I got a product I was going to buy. as I touch it she says “are you going to pay for that..” I say yes and pay for it.

I felt uncomfortable and stereotyped just because I was a teenager in a school unifrom.

Visited farmers on the 28th of January (today) . My daughter and I were at the revlon counter trying out samples before purchasing lipstick and there was this white lady with glasses who was rude and snatched the lipstick from my daughter .the lady was in the heavier side and kept asking rudely if she can help . We are regular customers of farmers and being treated this way is totally unacceptable. Having this rude woman working in your store is only tarnishing your reputation . No customer should be treated the way we were being treated . I just read another complaint below which is about that same woman and looks like farmers is not addressing this issue . I wanted to share my experience here today. We were accused of stealing and were followed around the store by a woman with glasses. We felt like we were being harassed and it totally ruined our shopping experience as we felt as if we couldn’t shop happily. I felt very upset and distraught as I didn’t steal and would never steal from anywhere. The security guy at the door was polite and was just doing his job but the negative and aggressive energy from the other employees was palpable. Really disappointed with farmers and your team should do better with loss prevention and how to handle theft if it occurs.
