Rockshop Henderson — Attraction in Henderson-Massey

First of all big thanks to Leo from Henderson branch for liasing with their online team and organising collection of the item i purchased from their Henderson branch.

Now, lets talk about the collection experience when i reached their store on 1st May 2020.

Understand we are in Covid-19 Lockdown Level 3 and totally aware of the 2m distance rule. when I reached their store they had both the inner gate and the outer glass door shut making it confusing for the customer to figure out where the entrance is from and if the store is even open or not. Then i came a bit closer to the door noticed two staff members standing inside. The long hair dude noticed me and came to assist. as soon as he was trying to open the door i stepped back to maintain the distance and letting him know that I'm here to collect my weborder. The other staff short hair guy standing inside the store near the main counter pointed at me in such a rude manner and telling me to move back in such degraded tone. The long hair dude who was assistng me felt awkward but he was polite and told me to stand at the line that is connected to the footpath. Now when the long hair dude went to collect the item this short hair guy came and slammed the inner gate on my face and mumbled something in low tone as if i was entering in his store whereas i was still standing on the foothpath. DUDE!! we all care about our own health and safety you are not the only one and FYI take your attitude somewhere else. Honestly, if i had not paid for the item i would have returned the item and took my business somewhere else. This is not the right way to treat your customers. That behaviour was so unacceptable!!

Lastly, how i was handed over the item? Putting in on the concrete floor outside the shop entrance and was told to pick the item from the floor. Yes you read that CORRECT!! This was the most horrible experience for any purchase i have...

Hands down best rockshop in Auckland! Me and my mate went around trying guitars at all the stores in Auckland, Henderson easily had the best playing guitars, I've come in several times and seen the guys working there setting up, restringing, polishing the guitars. Also has the best jam room, looks cool and sounds great surrounded by all the guitar amps and all high end Gibsons, PRS, Fenders.

Everytime I need something ordered in, they've been able to get it into Henderson for me to try out including recently 3 fairly high end guitar amps from all over NZ which I was able to A-B-C before picking one to buy. Always been super helpful, been going there for on 10 years now. Can't...

As we all know, spending hard earned cash on hobbies that often collect dust can often cause us distress. I've poured through forums, I've done all the "internetting" I could do, and all of it could of been at least some what avoided, if I'd just gone into a place like the Rockshop and asked for help. These guys take the time to help you in whatever aspect of music you're trying to get stuck into, and they do it with a smile. I'm supremely impressed with the service from these guys time and time again.
