WestCity Waitakere — Attraction in Henderson-Massey

This mall is a bit average really. It is not terriable but sure is not the best either. There are too many two dollar type shops for a start. Just Jeans has a very limited selection of clothing compared to in most other Auckland malls and there is no other clothing shops that match Just Jeans quality at West City unless you like Stirling Sports. There are no shops like Noel Leeming or any other shop like Noel Leeming either. However, there is a Farmer's to buy electrical and household appliances.

As for food opitions there is a Mc Donald's and a Burger King along with some other food options. There is no KFC. If you'r into more cafe type food this is limited. There is is one cafe that you can walk into and eat. However, I have never eaten there so I don't know if it is good or not. Other than that there is really only a Coffee Club which is smaller than in other malls and just placed in the middle of the mall not in a shop so if you don't like eating and feeling your eating in the middle of the mall then this might not be the place for you as this is what most of the eating places are like at Westcity.

My personal feelings is that the staff in some of the clothing shops at this mall generally tend to be more unfriendly than at other malls but keep in mind that is my personal feelings and you may disagree with me on this.

There is a Countdown with a vast range of stock. The Wharehouse there is also reasonably good and worth visiting.

My advice is if you want clothes from the cheaper end of the clothing market then it is just an ok place to visit but even then still not as good as other malls even in the cheaper clothing price range. Remember I personally think the staff in the clothing shops are more unfriendly than at other malls. If you want Just Jeans clothing or higher priced clothing or want to go and buy electrical or household appliances then this is not the mall for you and I would go to another mall like Sliver Park, St Lukes, Albany or many of the others. If you want to stay in the local area then Lynmall I feel is better than WestCity these days.

I view this mall as a place you would go to buy something you know is there that you want and then leave. If you want to go on a day out shopping and stop at a cafe to have meal as well this is not the mall for you as an entire day at Westcity is really too long for what there is to do unless you go to see a movie.

Very poor experience for son & I on 24/11/24 for Pedicure at Professionail, West City Henderson. Towel I put feet on at start looked dirty. Floor not clean. Lazy massage, mostly just rubbing scrub up & down legs. Thats not massage. Sons experience was the same. Another customer had her nails cut in the air while on the massage chair- nails were flying all over the place. It was gross & I felt sorry for her to be treated with so little care. Up to 5 lady workers talking loudly throughout trestment & incessantly during service. They made zero attempt to speak quietly at all, with no consideration to make the experience relaxing for client.

Ladies were very obviously gossiping & mocking about customers- body language is a language too & can be read. We don't have to speak the same language to recognize when others are being nasty. Very unkind people with no sense of etiquette or professionalism.

Better change your business name because you lack professionalism entirely. Very bad for the brand name.

Massage chair sucked & staff didn't care to explain how to use properly when asked. No communication once polish put on- staff just walked away & left us with no idea how long we needed to wait.

Best thing about experience was hot towel & warm stones which sadly lasted for a minute amount of time. Effort removing dead skin average- still had dead skin afterwards.

Absolute waste of money, hygiene poor. Professionalism poor. Ambience poor. Shame on these women treating customers like this. I'd never waste my money again in this place & suggest no one else...

I am now editing this today March 27 / 03 / 2019 .. Disgusting so called support from the manager named LOUISE she did not care about my story . She said that my pearls were not her problem .. I am so disgusted . I am taking my story to FAIR GO . I am also putting in a complaint about this manager named Louise . After I explained my story and that I called the staff at La vie in casa . He did not care that's he continues to tell me my pearls are in storage . I said do I have to call the police . He said go ahead and he hung up on me . I am so disgusted that the staff in the mall Dont obviously care especially management ?! .. ....... Everything after these words I posted in weeks ago .... I have been calling more then a few times now about work that has been done on my peals at the LA BIE CASA .. Or LA VIE CASA . shop !

His name is Quassia . I told him when he was in Glenfield mall that I wanted my pearls then . Then he said they were in storage .

Then he moved to Westcity Henderson and did not tell me he was moving there .

He keeps ignoring my text messages also !

Every time that I have called . He always says that my pearls are in storage at first when he did answer .

I am ready to pay and pick up my pearls . My property ! I have left a complaint with Tasha on the phone . She said that she would pass on my details to the manager . Hopefully this will help !

I have spoken to management at least three times . They have all said they will call me back . Now at March quassa ignores my texts .
