I was absolutely astounded at the tirade of abuse I received from Liz Tregidga today at the Howick Market because I asked for a plastic bag when purchasing two very wet cos lettuce. I would like to make it very clear that the produce from Clevedon Herbs and Produce is amazing is why I have shopped with them virtually every week for at least two years. Liz proceeded to tell me about using plastic bags as if I was an infant. Without a breath she told me to shop some where else. She acknowledged I was a frequent client. Then there's the lady and cheeky lady Gloria with her cakes and biscuits, who you can always rely on to give a bit of check, luckily not always PC😇. Plus the rest of the market with all sorts of goodies and products, great Saturday morning place to be, plus the rest of Howick and it's multitude of cafes and food outlets, beautiful and friendly town, by far the best village in Auckland. One of the friendliest markets you will find in New Zealand with the added bonus of the Howick streets shopping, very villagie feel. Getting bigger and better with people coming to realize life can go back to normal after the covid...
