Howick Santa Parade is the most popular event every year. My husband and I have attended the parade on 10/12/2023 for the first time. We both were excited and extremely impressed by the fantastic atmosphere and excitement. We highly recommend you to join this event this year!

Very lively place to visit for young & old alike. Tempting your tastebuds will be an array of breads, pastries, sausage meats, flowers for those who need some including fresh herbs potted too. Veges galore, honey, masks, cookies, crafts & knits, macarme & beanies, falafel & shiny brass items, belts & buckles, crystals & opals, pounamu & bone carvings, jewellery & bagels, fresh farm eggs & fruits, donuts & sweets like fudge, cheese platters & olives, such an amazing bunch of friendly smiling happy folks, pet food stalls with so much variety for pets to choose from too. An excellent way to stroll through Saturday mornings. Nearby shops for a cuppa & brekkie, Awesome coffee baristas all across with sumptuous Cafe food for all. Everyone is having a good time. Plenty of P120 parking in the carport nearby. Bakers across the road for those who need something special &a few great pie shops too. Love it & treat yourself to a lovely morning, enjoy breakfast with a friend or family & browse through the $2 shop the mini mall & a supermarket close by. Not too crowded, sufficient space to move around, masks are being used & at places sanitizer too. Thank-you to the organizers, it's superb & very nice to promote Howick market! Oh & do carry your own reusable bags, as they will fill up for sure!...

Clevedon Herbs and Produce

I was absolutely astounded at the tirade of abuse I received from Liz Tregidga today at the Howick Market because I asked for a plastic bag when purchasing two very wet cos lettuce. I would like to make it very clear that the produce from Clevedon Herbs and Produce is amazing is why I have shopped with them virtually every week for at least two years. Liz proceeded to tell me about using plastic bags as if I was an infant. Without a breath she told me to shop some where else. She acknowledged I was a frequent client. I did have a shopping bag which was not suitable for wet produce. When I told her I had forgotten to bring a plastic bag she offered to wrap two wet lettuce in newspaper or I should pay 20 cents for a paper bag. These people actually sell 2 small cos lettuce WRAPPED IN PLASTIC - they obviously don’t practice what they preach which seems like double standards regarding their business practise. They obviously don’t have any regard for client support. - End of ! Very sad about your very rude response and very over...

Have been going to this since it's inception which I believe is 15 plus years. Sometimes in the winter and really bad weather days it can be a little quite but the stalwart regular stall holders are always there, like Jenny and her crew with vegetables and individual plants of exceptional quality for planting into your own garden. Then there's the lady and cheeky lady Gloria with her cakes and biscuits, who you can always rely on to give a bit of check, luckily not always PC😇. Plus the rest of the market with all sorts of goodies and products, great Saturday morning place to be, plus the rest of Howick and it's multitude of cafes and food outlets, beautiful and friendly town, by far the best village in Auckland. One of the friendliest markets you will find in New Zealand with the added bonus of the Howick streets shopping, very villagie feel. Getting bigger and better with people coming to realize life can go back to normal after the covid...
