The Gallery Tattoo — Attraction in North Island

I‘ve been on vacation in NZ and knew that by the end of my time here, I wanted to get a new tattoo. My design idea was pretty straight forward but also needed a competent and skilled artist as my idea was to have a delicate straight line down my spine paired with a sun next to the shoulder blade. I contacted the studio as I was traveling and they replied really fast. I got so so lucky that Matt had time and was up to the idea. He made a design just as I pictured it in my head. I loved that he took the time to really set it up to make sure it was really straight and perfect in every detail. The placement was key with this design! The result is absolutely perfect! During the whole process I was able to completely relax and was able to chat with Matt about his work and his beautiful art. If you’re thinking about getting a tattoo which is one of a kind, go and meet up with Matt. His passion and his skill is truely inspiring. I will definitely go back here if I find my way back to NZ. Oh and one last thing about Matt. He did all this on his day off. What a kind thing to do and a cool way to show up for the thing you love....

The Gallery Custom Tattoo studio is hands down the best studio I've set foot in and Mario is a genius. I spent years searching for an artist with his abilities. His skills with colour, style, detail, and original design are exceptional. He's also a fantastic guy with interesting opinions and enjoyable conversation about heaps of topics, which makes any session time with him fly. When I take him an idea, he brings it to life in ways that far surpass what I could have imagined on my own. I have a completed half-sleeve and a back piece in progress from him, and I couldn't be more thrilled. He takes tattoo art to a world-class level and is always seeking ways to improve and expand his talents. He takes pride in having extremely high standards. There's honestly nothing more I could ask for in someone I'm trusting with my skin. It's always a pleasure to visit. The hospitality in the studio is five-star, boasting home-made treats, hot beverages, and lots of friendly interaction. Everyone is conscientious, easy-going, and extremely talented. WOW.... I've got my very first tattoo done by Juse at the Gallery Tattoo couple of weeks as I wanted something special to stay with me from my travels through New Zealand. From the very first contact to the final tattoo on my ankle it was such a fantastic experience. As I was travelling I had a narrow time window to get the tattoo done - but the guys at Gallery Tattoo went beyond to make sure that a session could take place during the days I was in Wellington. THANK YOU! Juse is an awesome tattoo artist, who understood right away what I wanted. He is professional, talented and so such a great guy!! He checked on me during the session, made sure I felt comfortable and understood every step of the process. The drawing was already wonderful and the final tattoo is just amazing!!! I LOVE IT!!! I smile every time I look at it. For sure will be back at Gallery Tattoo and Juse for my next tattoo, when I get back to Welly - which is hopefully soon!...
