My colleagues made a Hells Pizza (Bond Street) order through Uber Eats tonight whilst we are on night shift.
One of my colleagues is highly allergic to dairy. She ordered the 'Greed' DAIRY FREE pizza. For good measure, we made an additional note to the order (which was printed onto the receipt we were given FROM Hells Pizza) ensuring the Greed pizza needs to be dairy free and if there were any issues in doing that, to contact us.
However, when the order arrived, she was suspicious of the cheese as it looked like dairy/normal cheese. We called Hells Pizza Bond Street and spoke to a staff member and they advised me they couldn't find our order and that we would need to contact Uber Eats directly.
I phoned Uber Eats and they advised if there were any issues with the order, that we are required to call the restaurant. So I phone Hells Pizza Bond Street back. I was speaking to the same staff member as before (turns out they are also the Manager).
The Manager said they "honestly don't know" if the pizza was dairy free or not as they "don't keep records of any Uber Eats orders once they are complete". I asked if they could check with the employees who made the pizza as we just need to know if the Greed pizza is DF or not, because my colleague is highly allergic.
The Manager proceeded to LAUGH and said "I don't know what else I can tell you, you need to call Uber Eats because they're technically the customer as the order was received through them". Uber Eats weren't the ones preparing the pizza and processing the physical order...why wouldn't the Manager/staff be able to tell us?
Really unfortunate situation and horrible service from the supposed 'Manager' there. They truly did not seem to care. If my colleague didn't notice this and just ate the pizza, she would be incredibly sick right now.
If you have dietary requirements/restrictions - or care about decent customer service...I would think twice about ordering from here...very...
Read moreHell Pizza Bond St is different to any Hell Pizza I've been to before - it's more of a sports bar / Pub type setting with a Hell Pizza kitchen out the back. We went on a Tuesday night for the All You can eat Pizza and booked in at 5:30, arriving early for good measure. I would suggest only going for the unlimited Pizza only if you can stay the full 2.5 hours to make it worth the cost. We had somewhere to be at 7pm, so had to leave at 6:45, and I don't really believe it was worth it as we were only offered 5 slices (each) in that time. We got served a slice approx every 15 minutes starting at 5:45, but maybe you need to sit in the top part to get more, I'm not sure. Either way, the Pizza itself was delicious - but as I say make sure you have the whole time free (5:30-8pm) or otherwise maybe dont sit too far away from...
Read moreInsanely expensive food that's not worth the price. The options are snack or double, so double sounds like it'd be really large and was double the price of the snack so if double is really big then snack sounds like a marketing tactic to get you to pay more. Doesn't seem reasonable to have a one big pizza and one tiny one with no in-between and also to mention that the price of all snack pizzas was more than the average large pizza at cheaper pizza stores.. so I went with the snack. And it was so freaking tiny, about the same size as pizza huts mini pizza for like $5 😭😭 and it was just very average tbh. I got a death by chicken pizza which looked really good.. but yeah not worth $17 for mini average tasting. The extra cheese on top was like those fake cheese slices at the supermarket. Big...
