Oriental Pantry — Local services in North Island

Brand-new, Asian grocery store, in a handy location in Willis Street, close to the Manners and Willis Street intersection, and to St. George's Hotel, Boulcott Suites and Trek Global Backpackers. So now around this GPS you have this option in addition to the one on the next street (Victoria} if you're looking for Asian foodstuffs (tinned, dry, frozen) which should be good news for the many Asian students (from VUW, etc.) and community, who live close to or frequent this part...

Worst shopping experience. The female staffs here are just racists. They can speak perfect Mandarin but refuse to do so even they know that my family members are Chinese and don’t speak English. Every time I shopped here, the staffs were super nice to non-Chinese shoppers and turn off their smiles to people who speak Mandarin.

Shame on you.

Will never come back again because my family and I feel very offended and ashamed of how the staffs treat people...
