Ivan Clarke Gallery — Attraction in South Island

Good Gallery. But very bad customer service. It is non existent. Very racist attitude of the lady at the gallery. I said 'Hello' and no response. She is a White Old Hag. She shooed away a group of Asians before I entered the store saying that the paintings are too expensive ! I bought one of Ivan Clarke's painting from Series 1 few years ago for $12,000 and this time I went to the gallery to buy a Giclee from Series 2 worth $6500. I did not buy because the lady did not acknowledge our existence. You lost a customer. Ivan Clarke is a good painter. Should hire better ppl to sell his art. A white English couple came after me and the old hag is all over them. The couple did not even buy a postcard ! This happened on 4/4/21. Never buying again or...

This gallery is amazing. It's one of the finest I have ever visited for its size. It's well positioned and it's also free to enter. If you're heading to Queenstown, you definitely need to check out Ivan Clarke's work, especially his epic scale paintings of New Zealand landscapes. I couldn't recommend the gallery and the very helpful and friendly staff...
