I am thrilled to share my incredible dining experiences at Winnie's Pizza in Queenstown. From the moment we stepped through the door, we were greeted with exceptional service and a warm, friendly atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff at Winnie's Pizza went above and beyond to ensure our visit was memorable. Their genuine friendliness and attentiveness truly made a difference. From the moment we were seated until the last bite of our pizza, they were there to provide recommendations, answer our questions, and ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the pizzas! It's no exaggeration when I say that the pizzas at Winnie's are the best we have ever tasted. The flavors were outstanding, and each bite was a true delight for the taste buds. The dough was perfectly thin and crispy, the toppings were fresh and abundant, and the combination of flavors was harmonious. From classic options to unique creations, their menu offered a variety that catered to all taste preferences. One visit to Winnie's was simply not enough for us. We were so captivated by the exceptional quality and flavors that we found ourselves returning three times during our stay in Queenstown. Each time, the pizzas exceeded our expectations, and we left with satisfied smiles and full bellies. Beyond the outstanding pizzas, Winnie's atmosphere added to the overall dining experience. The cozy and inviting ambiance, coupled with the friendly staff, created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and enjoyable. Whether we were dining with friends or family, Winnie's provided the perfect setting for conversations and laughter. It's worth mentioning that Winnie's Pizza is more than just a restaurant—it's a true culinary experience. The attention to detail in every aspect, from the fresh ingredients to the careful preparation, was evident in each pizza served. The dedication of the chefs and the kitchen staff to deliver exceptional quality was truly admirable. If you find yourself in Queenstown, I highly recommend paying a visit to Winnie's Pizza. With their exceptional service, friendly staff, and the best pizzas you'll ever taste, it's a dining experience that you won't want to miss. Whether you're a local or a traveler passing through, Winnie's will leave a lasting impression on your taste buds and make you crave their delectable creations long after your visit. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly give Winnie's Pizza a five-star rating. Their exceptional service, friendly staff, and mouthwatering flavors make it a must-visit destination for pizza lovers. Thank you, Winnie's, for providing an unforgettable dining experience that we will cherish for years to come.

The pizza was absolutely delicious. My partner ordered a large vegan pizza and I ordered a small chicken cranberry pizza and they were both amazingggg! The cocktails we had were delicious too. I wish we had room for dessert because based off of the dinner and drinks i’m sure it would have been awesome. Service was super friendly and the atmosphere was beautiful. We were offered a seat outside on a covered balcony and it was a lovely, quieter zone than the rest of the restaurant, so we sat there and it was great. There were a bunch of menus for different dietary restrictions on a table nearby with a row of pizza boards showing the different sizes, as well as a heap of napkins and cutlery. Food came fast as well. Highly recommend coming here if you love good pizza and are in Queenstown!!

Winnes is two things. Pre 10PM, unreal pizza. Post 10PM, THE party joint in Queenstown but for the young crowd. Pizza topping at most places these days is stingy. Not at Winnies. They load the pizzas up to a new level. And then put some "garnish" in the middle that could be an entree by itself. The hot wings are pretty bang-on as well. One large pizza and wings floored 3 of us who normally eat a lot. If you're in your early 20s, this is one of the better places to party. I remember partying here 9 years ago and it's still exactly the same. By 1am, the floor turns into glue and the guys bathrooms are covered in piss. To be expected from this level of party though. At 30, we were on the older end of the crowd but it's still a bunch of fun.

Just spent 2 fantastic weeks in NZ South Island, ending up in Queenstown for 3 nights. I am writing this review to bring my family’s experience at Winnies to the owners attention. We arrived at Winnie’s full of expectation given the self promotion the business advertised, but sadly left very disappointed. It was the only poor experience (dining and otherwise) we had in our entire NZ trip. Walked up the stairs, was asked if we had a booking, which we didn't, so were shown to a cosy table for 3 beside the fireplace and window. My wife asked for table water which came along fairly quickly, but it then took quite a while for the waiter to return to take our order. When asked about the pizza base thickness the waiter said he wasn’t sure as it was his first night. We rolled the dice, ordered an entree to share and 3 small pizzas which eventually turned up. No mention did we want a beverage and the waiter was gone before we had a chance to ask. So we started our meals which were certainly not gourmet pizza’s by what I would call, ‘Melbourne standards’. That aside, we never saw the waiter again. We had gotten accustomed to wonderful NZ hospitality where without exception the waiter would come back soon after our meal was started, asking “ is everything ok with the meal, can I get something else for you?”. No such thing occurred. We finished our meal without the offer of desert and left. On the way out, which is where we figured out that payment took place, I did ask the young lady sitting at the cash register, “could I see the manager, please”, to which she said, “I am the manager”. I explained the situation and she apologised and was sorry. My take on this is, Winnies management have apparently not grasped the first principle of a good restaurant which is good service. I don’t blame the actual waiter, the problem is he was let loose without proper training and supervision, which is exactly what a manager is meant to ensure happens. Sorry for the poor review, but consider it a wake up call. Believe it or not, we may just visit Winnie’s again in 12 months time to see if things...

I’m writing to share feedback about our recent experience at your restaurant. I don’t like giving negative review I really respect how much work goes into running a business. But in this case, I feel it’s important.

Yesterday we came in and were told the kitchen was closing, but we could still place a takeaway order. We ordered two pizzas, which cost over $80. Since the dining area was still open, we sit and wait there.

What followed was extremely disappointing. We waited for 40 minutes without any update. We were the only customers left the kitchen had already closed, and no other orders were being prepared. After such a long wait, we asked how much longer it would take and only then did they take two cold pizzas off the shelf and hand them to us.

No explanation. No apology. Just two cold pizzas clearly sitting there for a while handed over as if nothing was wrong.

When we asked why we hadn’t been notified the food was ready, the staff member said, “We usually don’t notify customers when it’s ready.” That honestly shocked us. If we hadn’t asked, we probably would have waited even longer for cold food.

To be fair, the pizza might have been delicious if we had received it fresh and hot but unfortunately, by the time it reached us, the quality was already lost.

For a price that high, we really expected better at the very least, warm food and basic communication.

This experience unfortunately affected of our evening. What was meant to be a relaxed dinner with friends turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience.

I’m sharing this feedback because I believe it’s important for improvement and I hope this helps similar situations for...
