I’m not one to leave negative reviews but this company caused me to have one of the worst travel days of my life. I booked transportation from San Juan Del Sur to Costa Rica. We were picked up on time from our hotel and taken to the border. During our ride our driver told us to book onward travel as it is a requirement to enter Costa Rica. I told him we’re going to Panama after, then he told us we can buy a bus ticket, which we did. When we arrived to the border we changed to a bus (which was 20 minutes late) with about 40 people or so and all went through immigration together on the Nicaragua side to exit and the Costa Rican side to enter. When we got to Costa Rican immigration they would not accept my bus ticket as onward travel so I had to take a little time to buy a plane ticket. It took about 10 minutes to buy the plane ticket and show immigration. When I got stamped and left to get back on the bus it was gone. No one from the bus company warned us it was going to leave. We only found this out because we had a friend on the bus. The bus left only a few minutes before we left immigration. When I told this company what happened they told me it was my fault and would not refund me. Avoid this company, find a different one or take a taxi to the border and just buy a bus ticket on the Costa Rican side to the city you are...
Read moreI hate leaving bad reviews but avoid this company at all costs. I’ve traveled to 40+ countries and used countless transport services, and this was by far the worst.
If you take a few extra minutes at immigration, they will abandon you, blame you, and refuse a refund. At the Costa Rica border, immigration wouldn’t accept my bus ticket to Panama as proof of onward travel. I had to quickly buy a flight ticket and show them, which took about 10 minutes. While I was still at the counter, the bus left without us without notice. I only found out that they left just 5 minutes before I got my passport stamped because a friend on the bus told me.
When I contacted the company, they insisted it was my fault (how?) and then ignored my messages. The hypocrisy is absurd. The bus itself arrived more than 20 minutes late, but passengers apparently can’t take 5 extra minutes?
I’ve never seen a shuttle service abandon travelers at the border instead of guiding them through and waiting for them. If you’re going from Nicaragua to Costa Rica, save yourself the stress. Take a taxi to the border, cross, and buy a bus ticket to your destination on the other side at the bus terminal. It’s cheaper and far more reliable than...
Read moreAbsolutely awful! I would give zero stars if that was an option. I booked a shuttle and was told I had to take a public bus to a town 45 minutes away. The shuttle never showed!! I messaged them it never showed and not even so much as an apology. They literally stole my money and ruined my travel plans. I was traveling from San Juan Nicaragua to San Jose, Costa Rica and found a bus from the border (about 40mins away) for only $8USD when I paid $30USD...
