This place was a tale of 2 staff; the short woman who took our order made a few mistakes and was unapologetic, instead arguing with our hosts about what we ordered. Of note, we ordered in Norwegian by locals, so no language excuses. There was a man also working who offset the issues of the woman as much as he could, striving to correct everything and being very friendly and helpful. But the poor experience with the woman working was frustrating and made everything take very long.
Besides that, the food wasn't great I'm afraid. The sandwiches that are meant to be heated were half warm, half cold, depending on the bite. Coffee was good but they didn't have cream, only milk (or possibly that interaction in English was misunderstood). The most positive thing was the yoghurt with fruit and nuts, quite good for breakfast and a decent price.
If I am back I will much prefer to try one of the other nearby bakeries with coffee, and recommend the same. Our Norwegian hosts were very frustrated with the experience here. Or if you do go, write your order down and get a clarification it is correct...

While this is usually not too much of a problem as the food is always good, in the mornings time can be tight. In addition got over charged knowingly today morning!
There is meant to be a pick 3 deal for 79 kroner. I asked for 6 croissants for a team activity with the expectation I would get 2 x Pick 3.
I was rung up for instead for 3 x pick 2, which is more expensive. I caught this on the bill, and asked the cashier to check it, assuming it was a mistake.
She just told me that she had been unable to ring me up for the pick 3 so just chose the pick 2s instead.
I have as given the option at this point to just cancel my order or to keep it as is. I ended up having to keep it as I was pressed on time.
It's not the 30 kroner difference that I am worried about. It's the fact that the server was so nonchalant about knowingly overcharging me without informing me of the issue ahead of time. Leaves a bad taste.
