My first travel with Turkish airline was last year 2024 . It was from Muscat to Barcelona. I enjoyed the trip , everything was as planned and offered.
My second trip was last week , I travelled from Muscat to Constantine via Istanbul airport , flight TK 1411 dated 29 Jan 2025. I reached to my destination with my family but without our baggage ! We received 2 and the other 2 were missing . We searched and waited in Constantine for 2 hours till one of the officials directed us to reporting office were we registered our complain about the missing baggage. Today , after 4 days of waiting and putting on the same outfit they told us that our baggage is still not reached and we should wait till tomorrow , Maybe it will reach , and they will call us. The reason for all this as we told is to reduce the weight of the airplane !!. I wonder if we will receive our baggage or we will go back to Muscat without it , and it is lost somewhere. When we called Turkish airline office in Muscat , the responsible staff was not helpful. I need this experience to be escalated to Turkish airline office managers to take immediate actions first to make sure that I will receive my luggage tomorrow , second to improve the service And train their staff to deal with customers nicely , and to have a hotline for such incident , some one who can answer every call .

Read moreI’m writing this review on behalf of my friend who traveled with Turkish Airlines on May 12 from Muscat to Istanbul (1:30 PM flight). Unfortunately, his experience at the check-in counter was disappointing and unprofessional.
The staff member at the counter—reportedly of Bangladeshi nationality—asked intrusive and unnecessary questions. Although my friend had a valid onward ticket to Zurich, he was still questioned about further travel plans, which is not the business of the check-in staff. The interrogation felt excessive and unjustified.
What was more concerning was the staff member’s judgmental attitude—he seemed to assess my friend based on appearance and made inappropriate comments about his luggage. This behavior came across as discriminatory and bordered on racism.
This reflects poorly on Turkish Airlines. I strongly urge the airline to properly train its ground staff to treat passengers with dignity and respect, regardless of their nationality or appearance. Discrimination has no place in...

Its been 4 months already and I did not receive my refund of ₹55,000 yet ($660) (253 omani rial). They are asking me to contact indigo which doesn’t make sense.
