Aparthotel Boquete — Attraction in Bajo Boquete

Great apartment hotel. Only negative thing is lack of privacy. Curtains are see-through and doesn't exist in the bathroom, at least where I stayed, so other guests can peek in while you shower.

-- Edit April 2024: The owner has reached out to me directly to have me change my review. He claims that the bathroom window's lower edge is 1,80 meters above the patio so it is impossible for anyone to see in. In the photos from the site, everyone can see what that supposed 180cm/~6ft should look like, but if it is the case, then the door knob is also at approximately 1,75cm. above the floor.

The owner has shot photos of himself standing under that window as claimed evidence of this height, but anyone who actually overlays those images with the images of the window will see that either, the door is almost 3.5 meters high, or he is lying instead of buying some curtains.

One may wonder why it is so important for him to have no curtains in the bathroom that he would go through all the trouble to keep it easy to look into the...

We loved our stay at Aparthotel Boquete. The location was perfectly convenient for walking to restaurants, shops and the Tuesday Market. The accommodations were great. The apartment had everything we needed including fresh eggs and daily bread. We really enjoyed the back yard that not only had luscious fruit trees to pick from but also included a pair of ducks, small duck pond and several parakeets along with beautiful flowers and trees. This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to explore Boquete and discover everything the area has to offer. My stay at the Aparthotel Boquete was a very enjoyable experience. It is well located within walking distance, just north of the town. Volker and Maria operate the apartments and were extremely accommodating in attending to the needs of the visitors whether you were a short term.(days)or long term renter( weeks / months). The apartment is compact but provides all one's needs. The kitchen has a small table for two and the patio provides a similar option with a beautiful view of the well manicured garden lovingly cared for by Maria. Every morning one was greeted by a freshly baked roll placed on the patio table.
