Our guide JC (short for Juan Carlos) told us "I will take you to the best ice cream place in Panama" and he took us here. I ordered the Coco and Ron Con Pasas ice cream. Two scoops (which are huge) for a total of like 8.00 dollars. OMG. This ice cream made me dance. I was sitting on that little blue stool tapping my feet, humming to myself, and rocking my shoulders back and forth as I stuffed morsel after morsel of their gourmet ice cream into my mouth. This is a must go to place. It's located in the old city and is really easy to get to. There's only one of these (so far) in Panama and it's a delicious experience. If you in Panama, just go here. Read morePopped in for an ice-cream break on a hot and sticky afternoon. The shop is small, but as we were the only ones there we could sit at one of the two tables. The ice cream itself was delicious. I had a dual scoop - vanilla & walnut and "pain d'épices" (gingerbread); my wife chose basil and lavender for her two scoops. All 4 flavours were definitely in the "yummy" category. It was strange that the shop charged the same for ice cream in a cone as in a bowl. I got white chocolate, dulce de leche and coffee flavors which were really good, though the coffee wasn't quite as good as the rest. They do have various toppings as well including sprinkles and chocolate chips.
