A beautiful serene park by the lake of Lugano is an enchanted place. The tranquility of this place will leave you mesmerized with overwhelming pungent aura of the numerous colorful flowers and the sparkling reflection of sun basked lake. There is no better close-up view than from Parco Ciani. While strolling through the park, pause and sit on one of the red benches and admire the scenic view of Monte Bré, Monte San Salvatore and Campione d'italia. Parco ciani is an all rounder, even at night, you can witness a spectacular view of Lugano city; with lights reflecting off the lake, you can't help but be awe-struck with the panoramic view. In the park, you would come across "Villa Ciani" which is a beautiful peach colored building. Parco Ciani is also home to Canton Library and Lugano Convention Centre. This place can be a getaway or a get together for many tourists and locals. With swirling paths, lots of green space and children recreational activities, this park is for people of all ages. One of the most picturesque areas to visit in downtown Lugano has to be that of Park Ciani. It's mentioned in a lot of vlogs and blogs and allured me to visit before even stepping foot on Swiss soil. The gardens are eye-catching and what makes it special is its proximity to the lake shore and backdrop of mountains. Dollybirds in fancy dresses strike poses in front of Apple phones as couples walk hand-in-hand with glee. There are no glum faces in this corner of Ticino's capital. Every few yards within Ciani's boundary is photoworthy and then there's Villa Ciani. This peach coloured facade compliments the grounds and with the symmetrical flower beds it's a picture in front of a cloudless sky in summer.

Parco Ciani is the single place that makes Lugano a remarkable city. It encloses the high quality of landscaping, spotless cleanliness of the streets, the diverse cultures of tourism, that are all identifying traits of Switzerland: while kissing an ever sunny lakeside which reminds one of the warm italic cities not too far south.
