In this church is where you would find the resting place of both St. Rosa of Lima and St. Martin de Porres, both of which are national icons. The tour includes a visit of two cloisters, one of the oldest libraries in the country, the crypt where St. Rosa is layed to rest, St. Martin's burial site, his original room, and a climb up to the steeple tower (which offers an amazing 360 of the city). Be aware that if u are with children they will not be allowed to climb the tower, and only visitors that pay the full adult price will be allowed the climb. The church itself keeps different hours as the museum/convent tour so I would suggest to check the times ahead of your visit. The gardens are beautifully kept and inspiring. One room was all about Mary and Jesus as a child. Another room had a very short doorway, so my daughter went in and took some pics. Must have been a crypt since one of the pictures she took was a window into a circle of bones.
