A veritable institution in Lima with decades of history and, incredibly, a place on the most central and important square of the city where you can still get a decent size slice of pizza and a coffee or soda for 4 Soles (about 1,1 USD). The place is full of locals who flock to a restaurant where you can fill your stomach quickly and for such an affordable price. There are also tourists, of course, because of the location, but this is a local institution. The pizza comes standard with a slice of pepperoni and some ham. You have two choices: take it or leave it. Is this the best pizza you'll eve eat? No. Absolutely not and by a long shot. But it is not bad and you come here for the experience, not for fancy haute cuisine. You pay at the casher, that hands you a piece of paper with which you you line for your slice of pizza, served on a piece of grease paper (no plastic plate: good) along with a soda that resembles Inka Kola both in color and taste or a sweet instant coffee (sweet in the sense that it has a lot of sugar, not meant as a compliment). On the shared tables there are open containers of a red spicy powder (Chili?) and a green one. The place is reasonably clean, with a constant flow of people and pleasantly chaotic. It feels 110% authentic and for 1.1 USD you can't ask for...
Read moreI'd like to write this review for tourists. The place is ok, not too dirty to be a cheap restaurant, the workers try to keep it as clean as they can with all the people coming and leaving. It's good if you're starving and you just want to fill up your stomach. They have a promo that is very popular and that's why the place is usually crowded. You have to go to the cashier first and pay and then go to get your pizza and soda in front of the cashier. The promotion is one slice of pizza and one cup of coffee or soda (probably not Inca Kola or Coca Cola) for 3,50 soles. The slice of pizza is the worst pizza I've ever tried in Lima as a local. It has no flavor at all, I really don't understand why people come here. I wouldn't go back to this place for this pizza even if...

They had a pizza pop/coffee combo for 3 soles? The pizza was enough to fill you up. I also had the 3 scoop ice cream multiple times! This place is good to hide from the extreme hot weather while exploring downtown Lima!
Full of locals and a fun place to...
