The Couch El Nido Travel and Tours — Attraction in El Nido

We discovered The Couch by Bryan while looking for a guide to help us climb Taraw Cliff, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. We ended up doing both the Taraw Cliff climb and the El Nido Tour A with Bryan and his team, and it was fantastic!

Taraw Cliff The climb was well-organized, and our guide was incredibly helpful, patient, and considerate throughout—especially at the more challenging parts. He also offered to take plenty of pictures, which we truly appreciated. One small suggestion would be to provide fresh gloves in multiple sizes and share a clear checklist of recommended items (like a small water bottle per person) to make the experience even smoother.

Tour A We chose Tour A with Bryan’s crew, and it was exactly as promised—a semi-private experience with a small group (max 10 people), making it much more enjoyable than the crowded standard tours. At most stops, we had the place to ourselves, which made the experience feel exclusive and well worth the slight premium. Bryan even lent me his fins, which made exploring the water much more comfortable!

A suggestion to elevate the experience further would be for Bryan to create his own curated Tour A, B, C itineraries, replacing a few less exciting stops with his personal favorites. Additionally, as vegetarians/vegans, having at least one dedicated main and starter in the meal would be a great improvement. It would also help if the crew could ensure that our food is prepared separately from meat, using different oil, knives, and pans. Clear communication on this would make dining more comfortable for guests like us. (Though this is more of a general challenge in the Philippines, not a reflection on Bryan’s team.)

I recently had the pleasure of embarking on a boat trip, and it was truly an experience to remember! From the moment we stepped aboard, everything was perfectly organized, and the crew went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and entertained throughout the journey.

The boat itself was spacious, impeccably clean, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a relaxing and enjoyable day. There were plenty of shaded areas for those wanting to escape the sun, as well as open deck space for sunbathers and photographers eager to capture the stunning views.

The itinerary was well-planned, with a perfect balance of adventure and leisure. We visited some of the most breathtaking spots—From tour A and C perfect for snorkeling, and secluded beaches that felt like paradise. Each stop offered something unique, and the guide provided fascinating insights about the locations, adding an educational element to the trip.

One of the highlights was the meal—a delicious spread of fresh seafood, grilled meats, and local specialties, all paired with refreshing drinks. It was the perfect way to refuel after a morning of swimming and exploring.
